KeySmart CleanKey (1-pack)

Excellent hook, button pusher, and touch screen stylus to minimize contact of common public surfaces. Not too big and not too small; can be carried in the pocket and still handle any size door. The retractable cord attachment is a bonus must have.

I love this key. I also bought a pack of four for my kid's, and was very disappointed in them. This one is made well, thick strong metal. Heavy enough to open doors, and enough your hand does not come in contact with the surface. The attachment is also well made, stretches to a good length, and retracts back. The attachment clips on, or attaches to a belt loop, It is great, I have told my friends and relatives about this amazing key. A great gift. Do not get the 4 in a pack. They are much smaller, thinner, and even pushing buttons on an atm, or elevator, you have too be really careful not to touch the surface because they are so small. Thank you for a great safety tool.

The CleanKey itself is high quality and useful. Using it on a touch screen can be fiddly, but it works most of the time. (The tip has to be flat against the screen.) The belt holder broke on my first trip out of the house. Obviously if you’ve got a hook hanging from your waist, it’s going to snag on, say, office chairs and anything else in your vicinity, and immediately self destruct. Half a star off for that. And half a star off for this company having the unmitigated gall to charge ten bucks for the impressive-sounding “CleanKey Cleaning Kit”, which consists of a piece of steel wool. A piece. Ten bucks. Don’t even dream of buying that.

I've been very happy with my purchase. The CleanKey is much more convenient than my prior door handle tool (a woodworking spring clamp), comfortable to use, and to boot, self sanitizing due to its material. I use a Nite Ize mini carabiner to keep it on my keychain, for easy removal when needed. I bought this one with the lanyard, since it came free, and was $5 cheaper than a non-lanyard variant of the same CleanKey sold locally! I've tried it on touchscreens and buttons, and the awkwardness isn't worth it for me, I tend to just get the alcohol ready and sanitize my hands afterwards...it's generally time anyway, after having been shopping and grabbing various things, or when I'm paying for my food and about to be eating. The CleanKey is 0.215" thick, 1.352" tall, and 3.625" long. For reference, that's about 1/4" longer than a credit card, and about 1/4" more than half as tall as one (64% the height, by the numbers). To be clear, only the two Key|Smart branded items are included with purchase. The carabiner and wire rope keychain are my preferred attachment accessories...hotel key for size reference.

Love this clean key. Compared to other ones I have seen, this one is extremely sturdy and fits most door handles. The touchscreen capabilities is okay for the most part. It’s works perfectly at ATMs, but takes a bit of tinkering to use at Target and supermarkets that I would just use my fingers. It’s best to always use the flat surfaced tip for touchscreens, but it does not always work. At least there’s always hand sanitizers at the check out terminals! Otherwise the best clean key that’s out there!

I purchased two of the CleanKeys. They work fine on doors, but not on an ATM touch screen. They are also too heavy to add to key rings and to place into pant pockets, unless you only have one key to carry. With car fobs it gets even more crowded. I do like the idea of the product, but in real day to day life, the product is difficult to keep handy.

Solid, thick, easy to open doors. Great feel as the thickness of it makes opening doors much easier than the skinny, flimsy ones. The serrated back helps gives it extra grip as well. Touchscreens are 50/50, but I bought a flimsy one with a rubber tip specifically for those, so I don't often use this one for that. Also comes with a retractable leash which makes pulling it out and using it a snap! Highly recommend, which Is something I rarely do. Lol

It passes the sniff test. Smells like pennies, which is what you want. Brass is supposed to be 2 parts copper and 1 part zinc. Neither of which a magnet should stick to. My strongest neodymium magnets don't have any attraction to it, so it's not just a cheaply coated steel. It's also a soft metal. I can easily carve a shard off with a utility blade and it's still that gold color underneath. So it's not just coated and seems like solid brass to me. The only thing suspicious is the it doesn't say a single word about "brass" on the packaging. I tried the touch screen on my phone and it does work. We will see how it works in the wild.
