Works after one use!!
Works after 1 first use!!! My dog had such bad trench mouth! It smelled like something died in his mouth, I could smell his breath across the room.i brushed his teeth after the first time and odor 100% gone. Game changer!! He was so happy and rolling around. He also seems to enjoy the flavor. Takes only a few minutes a day. Great product!!!

Effective
It seems to work. My dog hates brushing his teeth but loves mint flavored things. I thought he would love this flavor, however, he does not. Maybe becuase its a mixture of vanilla and mint. I wish it was mint only. One tube lasts a long time and is easy to open. The texture seems nice, and goes on smoothly on the toothbrush. Still searching for a flavor that my dog will enjoy to make brushing his teeth easier.

Good stuff, readily accepted by my dogs
I've been using this on my dogs for the last 20+ years and none of the three of them have ever refused it. Let's face it, brushing teeth is not an activity that dogs generally embrace, but they tolerate it, and it's easy to get them to, letting them start, as puppies, lick a little out of the tube. This bright, white vanilla peppermint paste seems to be a big hit. The only downside to this container is that it gets kind of curmudgeonly when you get near the end. Its metal structure undoubtedly keeps the product fresh, but it gets very hard to manipulate near the end. I'm sure I've left a fair amount of unused product in there over the years because I couldn't get to it. Still, my dogs always seem a little happier with clean, vanilla, mint flavored mouths. And a good price, here on Amazon.

This is one, research and look no further!
Great all I needed. I did my own research and my dogs teeth are whiter and more healthy. Plaque was removed. Yes you can attempt to see if your dog lets you brush his teeth and try to slowly train them to let you but after months of my dog saying no I bought some treats with grooves and put a bit of this toothpaste on it. Messy a bit in the tip due to the texture but it’s healthy, fresh, and easy to use. Effective and saved me $800 from a vet who said he needed a teeth cleaning. Next time I went to vet they asked if I was cheating on them and went to a different vet. This is all your doggies need just watch their teeth clean themselves but still have your vet verify. My dog now has his pearly whites back. Give your dog chew treats I used dentastix and put a thin small line of tooth paste in 1 or 2 of the grooves. 1 daily for a month and you’ll be amazed. Thanks for the high quality product toothpaste for my dog guys!

Noticeable improvement in breath and plaque control
This toothpaste works as advertised. Breath improvement is obvious within a short period of consistent use, and plaque buildup is reduced compared to standard pet toothpastes. The enzymatic formula actually breaks down residue instead of masking odor. Texture is easy to apply and spreads well on a brush or finger. Dogs tolerate the flavor without resistance, which matters more than anything else for compliance. No excessive foaming, no mess. This is a functional dental product, not a gimmick. If you’re trying to maintain oral health between professional cleanings, this does real work rather than pretending to.

Didn't work for our raw fed doggos
Well, I feel stupid trying to brush my dog's teeth. I also can't stand the licking and smacking sounds. So I left it to the hubby, he's much more patient than I am. Our dogs are raw fed so they only get raw bones to crunch on for plaque and tartar removal (as opposed to kibble scraping their teeth at every meal) so I assume that may be a contributor to their buildup. I have upped their bone chewing so maybe we won't need to brush their teeth as often. Hubby worked on their teeth diligently until the toothpaste ran out (once every other day). We didn't see much of a difference in breath odor, and their teeth pretty much looked the same. The only difference was the time taken out of the day to perform such a silly feeling task. Therefore, I can't necessarily vouch for the efficacy of this product. It was sort of easy to use, corgis like anything they can consume. Tooth cleanliness didn't seem to change much. Maybe this is more for dogs that eat a lot of kibble and therefore have extra buildup? Not sure. I'll be exploring gut biome next.
