18V ONE+ BUCKET TOP MISTING FAN KIT

My husband and I have used this a lot since it's been about 95 degrees lately. We sit and barbeque using the little unit on a bucket. We hook up the garden hose and turn it on. The mist is nice and cool, and takes care of both of us just fine. We haven't used the water out of the bucket yet. It's well built. Waterproof. Battery hasn't died yet and we've used it for 3 to four hours each time. We have a well and the old cheap plastic misters used to plug up all the time. This one hasn't plugged up once. Fan works great. We are about 3 feet from the fan and we only use the low setting. It does get you a little wet, but it's all good. Would buy this again. It seems it will last a long time.

This fan worked outstanding. I bought it to help for a lacrosse team that my son plays on. It was an 85° day on a turf field which radiates heat. Having the bucket fan available allow the team members to get cooled off as they rotated in an out of the game. One drawback is if you were going to use it for multiple periods of time you need a second battery. I will buy a second battery because this fan worked great. Other than that it is a great fan and works awesome to help cool down a group of kids out on a field.

I like it. I use it for when I'm cutting my yard. And I take a break, and it cools me down works good with the 5 gallon bucket. Haven't tried it with a hose yet, but if it works half as good as it does with the 5 gallon bucket, it'll be fine, would buy again.

My husband purchased this fan for me to use in our backyard during the awful pandemic period when our country club pool was closed. It is so awesome! I live in South Georgia, and our summer weather is almost unbearable most of the time, but this little baby makes being out in the sun wonderful! We probably need to buy another battery because the battery only lasts a couple of hours when you are using the pump and the fan together. We have also transported it to the pool several times now - since it's reopened, and transportation is very easy!! I highly recommend this product!! Not sure what is meant by "warmth" and "sheerness" in the rating.

This is a game changer on those hot sizzling field practices and games! It will keep you cooked down in the hottest temps! If you don’t need the pump/water the fan works great also by itself. Easy to use and can be taken and used in various was and places! A must have when outside . It’s best to have at least 2 batteries. The battery will last awhile when on low, even on low it still puts out a lot of mist. On a HOT miserable day, low or high this will do the job! Guaranteed!

Love, Love this fan. It will cool you off much quicker than expected and can be moved anywhere you may be working or playing and need some relief. The dogs love to stand in front of it until they are totally soaked but definitely cooled off. Battery life seems to be pretty long we run it often and I have only changed the battery a couple of times. Sitting it too close will soak you but you can also run it with just the mist and not the fan to cool the air in an area.

I chose the Ryobi fan over other brands similar b/c we have already have a few Ryobi tools, so we already had extra batteries. I bought it for my husband (and myself 😁) to use when working outside, however the mister has given us a few extra uses we hadn’t thought of. I can use it on the porch to mist my succulents. We’ve used it on the porch almost every afternoon this summer. It feels amazing, while taking a break from cutting grass. I keep a few batteries charged but one battery seems to last for more than one sitting. The fan came with a newer style battery charger that’s smaller than the old one. It still fits and charges the older batteries, the smaller size makes it more convenient to hide on the counter.

This mister is great. On jobs ites giving the guys a cool down mist, or camping in the blazing sun. This really cools you down fast.

Life saver for Softball season

This thing does what I need it to. I get hot during work and I have the space to utilize the misting feature frequently so it sits on a service cart atop a bucket filled with ice water. I occasionally turn the misting feature on briefly to cool down and then turn it back off again while leaving the fan blowing to keep flys off me while I work on garbage trucks. The only issue with this kit is the 1.5aH battery it comes with isnt the greatest and under nonstop fan use and the above described use of the misting pump, it only last about 3 hours on average. I went to home depot and bought a two pack of the 4aH battery with bag and charger combos and those last the perfect amount I need them to for a shift.. for now anyway which is something I'll touch on later. The other thing this leads me to next is the charger this kit comes with... boy is it a hot pile of garbage. It has one thing going for it and thats its size. It's small but it takes an eternity to charge even the battery this kit comes with. As far as these battery's go my own personal long term use is yet to be experienced however my mother has and her's was not great. I'm not sure which size battery or weed eater she had but she went through several and warranty for whatever reason was a massive pain so I reserve my opinion on the batteries till I've used them for a longer period. One thing I haven't touched on is the lack of ability to plug this into a power cord directly. I understand why Ryobi did this whit the amount of stupidity I see from even our "professional" drivers on a daily basis. I say this because water and electricity don't mix and having an extension cord being potentially exposed to that wouldn't be great but give me a break Ryobi. The little brother of this fan is a hybrid battery/cord fan that is basically the same thing. This fan is equip with a rubber gasket around the cap to protect the battery in its current design... you're telling me you couldn't design this thing with a hole on the bottom and another gasket with the same mechanism from the little brother? SMH Ryobi. Another thing with this fan that appears to be an awesome feature is the different fan speed and while it's nice, it doesn't quite feel as strong as some other comparable battery operated fans on the market I've tested. It also would be nice to have a dial fan speed controller rather than a rocker high low switch. I'll get used to that but we'll see how long this pump lasts on my work unit vs a home unit that experiences less use. I'm looking forward to using this fan on hot summer days in the yard with my nephew and our dogs.

If you are a Ryobi tool user then this is a must have . If you are not and need to purchase battery charger etc . Urgh prob not worth it. Product works as advertised however the jets that spray the water constantly get clogged. They then need to be removed and blown out before than be used again . Annoying
