Daily Vitamin C Face Wash

This is good. I recently realized vitamin C face serum helps reduce inflammation/pimples on my face and even helps heal poison ivy if I get it. Learning that, I decided to give a vitamin C face wash a try. I do use other facial products, so I can’t be sure which results are from which product, but my overall appearance has become brighter, more even-toned, and generally more polished-looking. I have to admit, the smell is off-putting. It’s not super strong, and in fact I’ve gotten pretty used to it. It doesn’t ‘stink’ like some face washes do, but if I had to describe it I would say it smells like a faint nail polish remover. Not really something that’s pleasant right under the nose. But considering the overall quality and improvements it’s worth getting used to. I plan to continue using this face wash.

This product smells delicious, the texture is thick and creamy and it cleans my face better than the expensive comparable products I've used for years. Highly recommend it!

It is good cleanser but I felt little strong on my face. I use very little like one pump is enough.

To provide context, let me tell you a little bit about my skin and my current regime for face care before I write down my review of the Dermedicine Daily Vitamin C Face Wash. My face tends to be oily in certain spots especially around my nose. My skin does seem to be sensitive because I do tend to get hives or small rashes if I rub or scratch it when my hands are dirty. I used to have breakouts all the time but I guess after my 20s, it's finally subsided. So when it comes to washing my face now, I've mostly stuck with an acne scrub a night and Cetaphil during the day. It's been good to my skin without over drying. To test the Dermedicine Daily Vitamin C Face Wash, I used it regularly for 2 weeks now both day and night. The face wash is not as gentle as Cetaphil but it's close. My skin doesn't feel overly dry but definitely feels clean. I always apply some type of face lotion with aloe afterwards. I haven't broken out so that's always a plus. Additionally, there really isn't much of a scent with the Dermedicine. I'm impartial to scents but this might matter to others. Is it making my face look any younger? I honestly can't tell. As long as it's not negatively impacting my face, I'm all for it.

This Dermedicine Daily Vitamin C Face Wash does a great job at cleansing the face. It keeps the face moisturized without drying it out. It doesn't have much of a scent & it's gentle. One would think picturing oranges on the packaging, it would smell like orange but it doesn't. It has a very slight floral note to it. Like others have stated, it won't lather up much but you don't need it. The pumper works very well. It's easy to control the amount coming out. The packaging was average. The face wash arrived cocooned in a sealed plastic bag. Overall this Dermedicine Face Wash delivers what it promises, clean glowing skin. Absolute 5 stars.
