Solid built HDMI switcher that is very stable
I purchased this switch for a unique use case. I live in a small apartment where a full audio system with speakers / receiver isn't ideal. I have gone with sound bars with rear speakers and a wireless sub which cut down on wire clutter, and also works well in small spaces, or even just limited spaces, or areas not physically laid out in a way to make a wired speaker setup clean. With this said: the sound bar I use only has one HDMI in, and one out to ARC /eARC / video passthrough. Also I have an older 2016 Sony TV with 4 HDMI ports, but only TWO are enhanced ports for HDR@60, and I have more than two devices I want to use that can benefit. So I purchased this switch as the solution. I have connected the switches HDMI output to the Sound bar's HDMI in, and then connected the HDMI out from the sound bar to the ARC port on the TV which is one of the enhanced ports. With this setup, I can pass whatever device I want through with the switch, and have full audio, and video capabilities available for what the particular device supports. There are a couple specifics I do to my setup to add stability to the setup, which are the following: 1. I disabled Bravia Sync on the TV as the different CEC versions between my devices can cause stability issues. 2. Because of this being a 5 port switch, I only need to use ONE of the TV's inputs now and have access to all my devices so I don't need Bravia Sync in this setup anyway. The switch is solid and well built, it has some good weight to it, and the ports feel firm and solid for good connections. Also wanted to mention that this item was same day delivery when I ordered, and am very pleased with Amazon's service. I also wanted to mention that this switch comes with auto switching features that seem to be hit or miss based on the device used. It also may be due to how I am using the switch as well, because I have an older Rocketfish HDMI 1.4 switch on a 1080p TV and it behaves the same way with auto switching. The disc players will auto switch, but the Roku, and Apple TV do not. However, I'm fine with manual switching so it's not a deal breaker for me. One other thing I'll point out is, this switch comes with an AC adapter that plugs in vs USB power which is nice. Bottom Line, I'm happy with the purchase, the switch is a great deal for what you get, and build quality. I completely recommend it.

Great HDMI Switch
This switch is extremely easy to set up. It has 5 inputs and one output. I only needed 3 inputs now, but this gives room to grow. I have a Samsung TV with 2 HDMI ports and I have a TIVO, a ROKU and an old DVD/VCR player that I still use. The remote works well so once I select the HDMI as my source for the TV it is easy to switch between devices. Picture and sound are working really well and the manufacturer has provided a 2 year free warranty. You do have to provide your own HDMI cable from the switch box to the TV, but I already had that available. This is a powered device, so I have seen no delay in switching displays.

Meets or exceeds all expectations.
I did a fair amount of researching before choosing to purchase this hdmi switcher. It's a little more costly versus the cheaper options available, but I do not regret my purchase in the slightest. This one provides 4K at 60hz instead of just 30hz as some cheaper switchers are limited to. It comes with its own power cable which plugs into a wall outlet, so it maintains constant power. This switcher meets and exceeds my every expectation. It is made very well, is sturdy and solid, has an attractive appearance, and both the unit and remote work flawlessly and perfectly. It automatically switches based on which device I'm using, but it's also useful to have the remote that I can use to manually switch back and forth between various devices. The manufacturer also provides an additional 2-year warranty, for free. I'm very, very pleased with the Roofull hdmi switcher.

Much better than the cheaper switch I tried
The first Hdmi switch I purchased couldn't handle 4k and non-4k devices plugged in at the same time. However, this switch had absolutely no problem. I also like the weight of the unit. It helps keep the small unit from "levitating" because of the cables plugged into it. I also like that all the cables plug into the back of the unit. This unit didn't try to auto switch everytime a device powered on like the other unit I tried, and it also let you switch to port even if the device wasn't sending an active signal to the port. I feel this is important if you're doing automated activities with a Harmony hub or the like. The remote is small but has actual buttons. My only complaint was that I had to use a shorter hdmi cable for output from the switch. Otherwise I was seeing "snowflakes" in any 4k picture. I suspect there's just not enough power in the output signal for a 20 ft hdmi cable. Once I used a shorter cable the snowflakes disappeared. And just tech tip for anyone who is plugging into a 4k TV that has multiple hdmi inputs... if you find you have audio issues from any device plugged into the switch, make sure the TV doesn't have more advanced hdmi settings enabled for the port you are using from when you had a single device going into the port. I had an older bluray player that wasn't getting audio output on the TV after using the hdmi switch, and it was because I had a "deep color" setting on the tv's hdmi port from when I had my firetv 4k stick plugged into it.

In the end, it worked...
I'm not a tech genius so I do not understand everything that happened with this device. I've never used one of these before but it took some finagling to make it work. I had to swap HDMI cords, swap HDMI ports on the switch for everything to work. My Samsung blu-ray player gave me the most problems, I plugged it into HDMI ports 1 and 2 and nothing, plugged it into #3 port and other devices into #1 and #2 and everything worked fine. I felt this should have taken 30 min tops for setup by after playing with Smart TV settings, unplugging everything, replugging, resetting it was approximately 3 hour set-up time. Everything works great now but intial setup was not easy, it was as if I needed to leave it plugged in for hours so the machines could learn each other??? Idk, in the end, it worked as advertised and I have no complaints in the quality but if mixing brand names I guess it could give users problems. I'd buy another one but I would anticipate a Saturday for connection rather than 1 hour on a Saturday.

Fantastic little HDMI 2.0 switch
Looking everywhere for this little guy... I’ve been on the hunt recently to find a solution to a problem introduced by my Sony Bravia 65” 900E 4K HDTV. I recent decided to upgrade my 2010 vintage sound bar to something a little more advanced...namely the Sonos Arc. The Arc, as the name implies, receives its audio feed directly from a TV’s Audio Return Channel (ARC). My 900E supports ARC connections on HDMI 3, which is one of only two full bandwidth HDMI ports on the TV capable of supporting High Dynamic Range (HDR) video (HDR10 in this instance). I have two 4K HDR sources, an Apple TV 4K and a Sony UBP-X800 UHD player. With only one input port still available, thanks to the Sonos occupying the dedicated ARC port, I needed a way to add additional full bandwidth HDMI ports to accommodate my sources. Enter the Roofull 5 port HDMI switch. I’ve only had the unit installed for a few days thus far, but it has behaved flawlessly. I turned off the auto switching feature as I use my Harmony remote to change inputs (Roofull switch is listed natively in the Harmony programming application). This is one of the few HDMI switches that support the various specs I was looking for (HDR/Dolby Vision, CEC, 4k@60Hz, etc), and is available at a very reasonable price ($38.99 at the time of this review). I’ll update the review as I gain more experience, but so far, it is everything that is advertised.

Appealing brand product, Looks good feels good BUT performs average....THERE IS BETTER!
This product looks and feels good but does not perform best. It had blinking issues where the screen would periodically turn black and sometimes it would stay on black screen for long and I had to connect directly. I took the chance on getting a replacement but that failed also and had static noise plus worse. Seller says the right cables may help but it had nothing to do with the cables because they were short and 4K quality and within 10-15ft. I took a chance on a different product called Sgeyr that may not look as appealing as this brand but had great reviews and it worked to magic without any of these problems when I received and tested. No longer the issues I had with this product Roofull. Remotes on both products work great within 3-10ft as long as nothing is blocking it. I returned both the original and replacement of this Roofull product for my full refund before return window ended and kept the Sgeyr switch because it worked to perfection without flaws. The same devices and cables and setup that failed on this switch, worked perfect without any changes or modifications. Don’t get me wrong, this product is not bad, and you may have a good experience with it but I can only share my in-depth testing and analysis with you to save you some time if you don’t have time to struggle through a couple products before finding yourself the perfect hdmi switch. I have it a 3 star for what it’s really worth based on my experience. I did best to convince myself to keep prior to me trying the Sgeyr, but I’m glad I did not trap myself and took a bold step which ultimately resolved in a more satisfactory result. I have attached a picture of both products to help you the buyer make up your mind and perhaps make a better choice. The chose the 3 in 1 for the Sgeyr because that’s all I needed but the company makes more inputs depending on what you need and prefer. Also they make one in 1.0 hdmi and 2.0 hdmi so be careful and read when you’re buying so you don’t buy the wrong thing if you want to consider the route I took that gave me the best results. All the best!

Quick setup
I recently moved my 55” TV to a wall mount from a tv table. There’s only one HDMI cable going to the TV so I needed a device to have multiple feeds to that cable. The ROOFULL does that. Effortless setup, just connect to a power outlet and connect the HDMI going to the TV to the HDMI output port on the ROOFULL then connect all your other devices with HDMI cables to the input ports on the ROOFULL . Works great, remote control is fantastic, picture and sound quality appears to be as it was when devices were directly connected to TV
