Dry skin? Oil first or serum first** A: So I know this question is 2yrs old, but for anyone else that stumbles upon this. Mind you, I double checked my knowledge straight from the actual Sunday Riley website (you can fact check if you like) that it’s the Good Genes first since it’s an exfoliant, then it’s the Luna oil. Even common sense would cause you to say why put a retinol oil on to just exfoliate it off. Given this information and the response that’s supposed to be from the “manufacturer” I’d question the legitimacy of this product, since Amazon does come into question whether the products are knockoffs or not. Going forward I’d personally only buy this from the website or other registered suppliers of this product. If you’re interested in trying it out I’d wait until holiday season buy the mini bundle and then decide to invest b/c these products while they do work are an investment. **Q: Can this be used in combination with salicylic acid? Yes these products can be used together with salicylic acid, however these are active ingredients so as always proceed with caution, and listen to your skin. I love both of these as they really work for resurfacing and the oil for nighttime use as you wake up with a fresh deeply moisturized and dewy face. I get exzema when stressed out I don’t used the Sunday Riley acid but go around my exzema spots with the night oil. I’d like to think it help a bit with the dry flaking.
