Does it matter if i am using a non uni router in front of this switch, as i am using the cloud key v2 controller and uni access points?

You don’t need to use a uni router.  I use a eero w uni switches and a cloud controller.

Question 2

Are injectors needed for a 500ft connection and would cat7 or cat8 be the recommended cabling? Could I use Eufy, reolink poe cameras with this device?

Hi, good day
it depend of each case, if the equipment (any brand) its PoE port is imbued and of good/recognized brand, could be not necessary, but always remember there are rulers for Ethernet, this Switch is PoE+ IEEE 802.3at (Type-2) parameters supported:25.5w/30w/2-pair/0.6 A, recommended for PTZ cameras, video IP phones, alarm systems, ok, but here the answer is IF COULD BE ENERGIZED in 500ft, my answer is almost YES, but (is a comment, not an affirmation, because here we are installing OUT-OF-RULERS, then is not the same a test for home, for our own experience, that a job by final customers, the responsibility is very different) important for minimize the lost of link, utp cable MUST be 100% copper, not CCA, not bimetal, the test is easy, cut, to assembly Rj45 and test, if work, good job and is a your secret trick, good luck. PD: also must check the pin-out of each equipment to energize, must be the same, in this case: IEEE 802.3at work with (Pins 1, 2+; 3, 6-).
