Great Tasting Electrolytes Without the Sugar
I've tried quite a few electrolyte drink mixes over the years, and LMNT is one of the best. I picked up the variety pack to sample the different flavors before committing to a full box, and I'm glad I did. It's a great way to find your favorites since each flavor has its own unique taste. One thing to know is that these are saltier than most sports drinks, but that's because they're formulated with a high amount of electrolytes and no added sugar. I found they taste best mixed with plenty of cold water, and the flavors become much more balanced. They dissolve quickly without leaving a gritty texture or residue. I especially like using these after a tough workout, spending time outside in the heat, or on days when I know I'm not staying as hydrated as I should. They help me feel rehydrated much faster than plain water alone, and I appreciate that they don't contain sugar or artificial fillers. Overall, this is a high-quality electrolyte mix that delivers exactly what it promises. The variety pack is perfect for first-time buyers, and if you're looking for a zero-sugar electrolyte drink that actually works, LMNT is definitely worth trying.

Ick at first, then I figured it out!
So, after all the hype from tons of influencers, I decided to try these to help with my fasting days. I’m fasting to help reverse insulin resistance and hormonal healing from an unexpected emergency hysterectomy (I’m 44), and needed some electrolytes to get me over the hump of my 36 hour fasts that I do 3x’s per week. Now that you know the why- here’s what I think: I tried this “multi-pack” of flavors first, and was drawn to the Watermelon Salt flavor. On the little insert, they let you know that if you dump one in a 16oz water bottle, it’s “Salty AF” (their verbiage) and that scared me. So rather than use any of their other suggestions, (their’s range from 16-32 oz) I filled my big 40 oz Stanley full with water, leaving only room for a handful of small ice cubes. I don’t like super cold water. I will say, as is my habit whenever I’m mixing a powder into a liquid, I reserved about 4 oz of water in a small cup, dumped in the watermelon salt flavor, then used my tiny frother/mixer to blend it, then added it to my Stanley. I’m not saying it wouldn’t have dissolved on its own- I just always mix powders this way to ensure they dissolve. My first reaction was absolute disgust. Like I wanted to spit it out- tasted and felt like I was drinking a slightly watermelon flavored cup of ocean water. Bleh! 🤮 Then I told myself, “you are 28 hours into this fast and have a headache- this will help”. So I held my nose and got down as much as I could. I could not finish it. Two days later (I always have a full eating day between fasts) I tried the next flavor, Orange Salt. Nope. Nope. Nope. 🤢 It’s important to note that I prepared it exactly the same way as before, in my Stanley. A week later, I tried every flavor and just could not do it. Not even a little bit. So I chalked this purchase up as an expensive fail. Fast forward to several months later, and in desperation during a particularly difficult fast where I was in deep and feeling great, but the headaches were brutal, I reached for my packets of LMNT again. I grabbed a 16 oz water bottle from the fridge (that’s right- Salty AF!!!), dumped a Watermelon Salt packet in, shook that baby vigorously, then I started to cautiously sip. And my mind was blown. 🤯It was DELICIOUS. Yes. DELICIOUS. Now, you’ll notice I gave this 5 stars. And I mean that. Every. 👏 Single. 👏 One. 👏 Here’s why: I was mixing them in waaaaaaayyyyy too much water. It diluted the flavor too much, where only the salt was left to shine. So the key here is rather than dilute it, drink it full force so that the watermelon is mostly what smacks your flavor buds! I honestly could not believe that I hated them before. Now I LOVE THEM- and won’t be without them on my fasting days. While I finished this first box of multi-flavors and did end up liking them all, I’m a total and complete fan of the Watermelon 🍉 and won’t do a fast without it. Again, I only use them on fast days (3 days a week- so roughly 12 per month) and mostly one per day is enough to help me sail through my fasts without headaches anymore. On some occasions I might just feel like I need an extra boost and I’ll have a 2nd one, but honestly, that’s rare now. I take these in the morning when fasting, and I’m good all day! Love these and if they weren’t so expensive, I’d definitely drink them every single day. But since I only actually need them on fasting days- I save them for that and a box of 30 will last me 2 months, give or take a few days. Hope this helps if you were on the fence or thought they were disgusting! :)

Love it
If you’re coming from sugary sports drinks, the LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes Variety Pack is going to be a shock to the system. It is unapologetically salty, but once you get used to it, most other "hydration" drinks start to taste like syrupy water. The standout feature of this 12-count variety pack is that it lets you try the core flavors—usually Citrus, Raspberry, Orange, and Watermelon—before committing to a bulk 30-pack. Each packet packs 1,000mg of sodium, which is significantly higher than your average electrolyte mix. It’s a game-changer for preventing headaches and muscle cramps after heavy exercise or a hot day, and because there’s zero sugar, you avoid the typical energy crash. A quick tip: unless you love the taste of seawater, don't mix this in a standard 16oz bottle. It’s much better in at least 24–32oz of water to balance out the intensity. While the price is on the higher end, the clean ingredient list and effective hydration make it a premium choice that actually delivers.

Don't Get Salty About Dehydration
I ordered these electrolytes because they scanned as clean on the Yuka app. I really like that LMNT uses clean ingredients that don't contain endocrine-disrupting chemicals. I like that they don't contain artificial dyes and colors. The packets are the right size and great for rehydrating after a workout or a busy day when I don't get to drink as much water as I would like. I instantly feel better and don't get a dehydration-related headache after drinking them. They also don't have a fake, powdery taste like other flavored electrolytes. I don't love how salty they taste as compared to others I've tried. However, the quick fix is to use 1/2 packet at a time. I usually drink the whole packet over two settings to keep it from being too salty. Overall, they are worth it if you're looking for an electrolyte mix.

Delicious and effective! How?
Are these expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? I think so, yes! A few things about these stand out to me about the taste: the flavor themselves, the sweetner, and, of course, the salt. The flavors on these run true. That is to say, when I first tried the watermelon and was expecting bonne bell chapstick or jolly rancher vibes, I actually just got... watermelon! Not too cloying, not artificial, just tasty! I normally really dislike watermelon flavors, but this one is actually my favorite! The lime is also like a tastier Gatorade, and the raspberry and orange are refreshing without beings powdery tasting. I also got a full box of the chili mango, and it's amazing! It actually tastes like mango, like real mango, with that kinda fresh, green edge of taste that a good ripe mango has. So good!! The biggest thing for me, though, is the stevia. As someone who cannot STAND artificial sweetener even in trace amounts (some companies try and do half/half? Yeah, nope! Gross!), and that includes stevia, I was a little hesitant to try this, but the other reviews convinced me. And they were right! I'm pretty sure it is the salt, actually, which covers up the weird cloying edge that something like stevia would normally throw at me, so it's truly serving multiple purposes here. Speaking of salt, I love it! Even at its most concentrated, I do not find it too strong ~ but I also love a marg with a good ring of salt, so could just be me haha. Either way, it totally works and is delicious. I needed an efficient hydrator because of a new medical situation, and one that would not spike insulin, while still being delicious. It definitely does a fantastic job of hydrating, as after one or two days of using, the random charley horses that I would get just from stretching (woe is me) are gone! The health benefits are definitely there! This product ticks every single box! Is it a little expensive? Again, yes. But you can also easily stretch one package between two or more water bottles, which helps give you more bang for your buck. In the end, I 100% reccomend!!

LMNT Review
This electrolyte powder is strong in salt, but the slice sweetness balances that out. It has a clean and refreshing taste. Product appears to have simple ingredients. I have had no side effects that I am aware of. And the powder dissolves fairly quickly once you shake it up. To me, it tastes like a healthy Gatorade; the natural coloring is the only thing missing. I’d recommend the product to anyone who hasn’t tried it.

Great flavor, too much sodium for my needs
I really love all the flavors. Watermelon is my favorite. I add a packet to about 16 Oz of water and that gives it a great sweet/salty flavor. But unfortunately I’ve discovered that it is giving me a headache. I think that I need less sodium. 1000 mg seems like a lot for my needs. I do reformer Pilates and walk or peloton spin classes.

Loved those!
They work and they had a more salty taste. Many are too sweet. This was better for me. Can really recommend them!

Buen producto pero caro
La calidad y el sabor son excelentes, mezclando un litro de agua con cada sobre pero el precio es exagerado.
