Really cool! My son wanted a dinosaur night light, and I found this and tried it out. It's kind of like a cross between a lamp and a nightlight. It plugs in more like a lamp, but is more like the brightness of a nightlight. But colorful, and cool. The only downside is the packaging isn't exciting. By that I mean, I bought it as a Christmas present, but I realized when I got it that when he unwrapped it he wouldn't know what it was, which makes it a boring Christmas gift. I ended up giving it to him a couple weeks later when he lost his first tooth. He kept trying to take it to bed with him. It's kind of bright to put on the bed next to your face, so I made him leave it on the nightstand. The remote is awesome, because there are so many options of colors and color fades, and blinking, etc. It is hard for him to get it to work from a distance though, because he keeps trying to point it at the dinosaur and not the small black base it sits on.

I bought this for my 9 year old nephew because he's obsessed with dinosaurs. I decided to open the box and get it ready for him because the box was a little unimpressive and I didn't want him to be underwhelmed. I'm so glad I did because the product is AWESOME!!!!! So only 1 dinosaur is viewable at a time, which is no big deal. The remote control offers a wide range of colors, flashing and diming options which you'll need 2 AAA batteries to operate. There is a USB cord that can be powered via any type of connection or you can insert 3 AA batteries in the base, which I did. There's also a on/off button on the base which you need to old down for two second to turn off, otherwise the devise will stay on flashing different colors. I felt that by setting it up first would help add to the excitement for when he opened it up and I'm so glad I did. You can go wrong w/this item.

I bought these for my son who loves dinosaurs and cool technology. We love them so far, and they definitely look 3D, some more than others. The ones that are cut closer to the Dino appear more 3D, and the velociraptor (is that what it is?) appears less so due to the acrylic border not cut as close around the Dino. The darker the room, the more 3D they look. There are so many colors and patterns, it kept my kids entertained for a while today! Will definitely be looking to add more shapes to this soon! The only thing I would change is adding a screw to the battery compartment on the remote so it can’t be as easily opened. It’s a button battery remote and I have toddlers so I prefer the extra security on the few button battery items we have. I ended up wrapping in packing tape just for my own peace of mind. Not a deal breaker at all, but a heads up for any other toddler / small child parents that may have the same button battery concerns as I do.

Updating my review because customer service was excellent. When they heard about my issues, they immediately sent a replacement lamp. I'm hoping the first was just defective and this one will last longer. Either way, my daughter is thrilled to have her new lamp. We've owned this lamp for about 5 months. At first it was great. However, it just stopped working. None of the colored lights work except red and the mode won't change. It just flashes red very quickly and can't be stopped unless you take the batteries out. It's cute in theory, and for a few months, but it's a big disappointment to your 5 year old when it stops working for no reason.

Very nice night light. Easy charging last for hours. I purchased over a couple of years and it’s still doing great.

At the time I ordered this, it was listed as a 3D dinosaur nightlight. That is why I bought it. IT IS NOT 3D AT ALL. It's just a very bright dinosaur night light that flashes and has different colors. I'm keeping it because it still works as a night light, but I'm disappointed because it said it would make 3D Dinosaurs for my kids' room and it doesn't.

I actually got this for my boyfriend's 31st birthday as one of his small gifts and even he loves it. It can be plugged in or ran off of batteries, so it can be placed anywhere. It has a lot of cool features on the remote and it can be set between 15 different colors or there are several options to fade between them all. Definitely a great buy for the price and would make an excellent gift for anyone of any age who likes dinosaurs or cool lamps in general.

Die dezente Helligkeit ist genau perfekt für die Nacht! So stört das Licht nicht beim einschlafen. Reicht aber definitiv aus, um Nachts ausreichend sehen zu können. Die verschiedenen Dino Motive sind vor allem für Kinder ab 3 oder 4 Jahren gut geeignet und sorgen für spannende Abwechslung! Ich kann diesen Artikel für Kinder in dem Alter nur empfehlen!

Typisch zügiger Versand dank Amazon Prime. Im Lieferumfang befand sich neben der lichtgebenden Einheit, ein USB-A auf Micro-USB Kabel, eine Fernbedienung sowie 3 Acrylglasplatten in Dinosaurieroptik die zusätzlich jeweils in eine Schaumstofftüte gepackt sind. Zur Inbetriebnahme wird ein 5V Netzteil oder 3 AA-Batterien benötigt. Beides sucht man leider vergebens. Optisch macht das Licht schon einiges her. Die Platten sind leicht zu tauschen, so das sie schnell mal gewechselt werden können, wenn die Kinder sich an einem der Dinos mal sattgesehen haben. An der Lichteinheit befindet sich eine einzige Taste über die sich das Licht selbst EIN/AUS schalten lässt. Farbwechsel sind über diese Taste ebenfalls möglich, jedoch nur eine eingeschränkte Farbauswahl. Die typische Standard Fernbedienung, die gefühlt bei jeden günstigen LED-Stripe dabei liegt, verfügt über die gängigsten Lichtmodi. Neben 16 verstellbaren Farben auch Flash, Strobe, Fade und Smooth Modus. Dimmen lässt sich das Licht ebenfalls per Fernbedienung. Hier muss ich allerdings einen Stern abziehen. Denn der als Nachtlicht beworbene Artikel, ist selbst auf der niedrigsten Stufe noch sehr hell. Jedoch ist hinzuzufügen, das wir das Licht über das USB-Kabel betreiben. Wird das Licht per Batterien betrieben und die Lebensdauer der Batterien neigen sich dem Ende(halten ca. 2 Wochen, jede Nacht genutzt), ist die geringste Stufe angenehm als Nachtlicht. Jedoch maximal noch für 2 Nächte, also keine wirkliche Option. Fazit, optisch sehr schöne Lampe die sich sicher auch mit anderen passenden Acrygläsern betreiben lässt (nicht getestet), jedoch für uns als Nachtlicht selbst auf dunkleren Farben noch zu hell ist. Haben die Lampe behalten das sie trotz allem um unserem Sohn sehr gut gefällt.

Sie haben im Dunkeln einen tollen Effekt. Das richtige Geschenk für kleine Dinofans.
