I considered UniFi amongst other managed WiFi brands, and given I couldn't find a great deal between them, so opted for this UniFi product. So far the device has been great. I did have a few minor issues during setup in that the WiFi speeds were very poor - but following a factory reset, everything worked as expected. I have around 80 devices connected to my network including the various IoT and the UDM Pro system resources barely registers. Overall a great device, the only thing it lacks is PoE on the ports, however this is clear from the product description so I can't mark the device down for that. Just one word of caution, the device provides NVR capability for CCTV however this is for UniFi branded cameras only. Again, it does state this in the various pages but I had missed it. Review: Male sure to login first with your unifi account not local - Great router. Turned my adsl2 router into a dumb modem (pass through mode only). Udm does all the lifting. Make sure you sign into this with a unifi online account for remote monitoring before you set it up. If you opt for a local account you'll have to reset it to bring it under your unifi account later. Works well with their unifi ups which is silly cheap. ## Features - UbiQuiti - Gateway ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B086967C9X | | Best Sellers Rank | 16,709 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 140 in Routers | | Box Contents | Gateway | | Brand | Ubiquiti | | Brand Name | Ubiquiti | | Color | white | | Colour | white | | Compatible Devices | Desktop | | Compatible devices | Desktop | | Country of Origin | Vietnam | | Current Rating | 12 Microamps | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,374 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 10000 Megabits Per Second | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00616621523608, 00817882027373 | | Included components | Gateway | | Interface | RJ45 | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 44.2L x 28.6W x 4.4H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Router - wireless - modem | | Item Weight | 0.3 Kilograms | | Lower Temperature Rating | 21 Degrees Celsius | | Manufacturer | Ubiquiti | | Manufacturer Part Number | UDM-PRO | | Model Number | UDM-Pro | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Ports | 8 | | Number of ports | 8 | | Platform | Linux | | Product Warranty | 2 years | | Product dimensions | 44.2L x 28.6W x 4.4H centimetres | | Switch Type | Managed, PoE | | UPC | 817882027243 687368409173 616621523608 810010071033 081788202732 817882027373 687368410070 810010071071 619837270229 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Upper Temperature Rating | 40 Degrees Celsius | | Voltage | 240 Volts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ubiquiti - **Colour:** white - **Compatible devices:** Desktop - **Included components:** Gateway - **Number of ports:** 8 ## Images ![UDM-PRO - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51RSUrCUpuL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I am moving off of Meraki as I cannot afford the license renewal, does this require a license?** A: Hi, No Ubiquiti does not follow a license model. All updates are free along with feature supported by the devices. Many Thanks LinITX **Q: Hi, does this come with a 3 pin uk adapter?** A: Hi, Yes the units supplied by LinITX will include a 3 Pin UK adapter. Many Thanks LinITX **Q: Does this still require a modem or can it connect directly to the master socket?** A: Hi, the Unifi UDM-PRO does not have a built in VDSL modem. If your internet provider operates over a BT line you will require a VDSL modem. For Virgin and cable based providers you will need to put the exiting router/modem into Modem mode. Many Thanks LinITX **Q: Can I connect my google wifi to this? Instead of adjusting straight to the full unifi kit?** A: Technically yes, you can plug any network device into one of the switch ports and it will behave just like any other internet router. Of course you only get the full benefit of the Dream Machine Pro when you are using the inbuilt UniFi network management controller and the any of the other supported features such as the Protect Camera system (which I use and is excellent), Access door entry system and the Talk voice system. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good replacement to my aging mesh equipment *by R***Y on 8 February 2024* I've had a couple of mesh WiFi products in the past, but I decided to improve my network a little so thought it would be good to move towards the managed switch network setup. I considered UniFi amongst other managed WiFi brands, and given I couldn't find a great deal between them, so opted for this UniFi product. So far the device has been great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy on the eye, not on the wallet. But needs careful attention… *by B***R on 4 January 2022* Bought this to stop my use of AWS as the controller. The AWS hosted controller was reliable and always on but costing £10 a month for all the logging etc. So I bought this, which will pay for itself ina couple of years…. Easy to install, just follow the instructions. Easy to use, just leave it in your rack. Easy to setup or monitor with the browser or app. BUT…. It’s reliable at acting as a gateway but the remote access isn’t always working (google it!). Also the UDM Pro has twice decided to not even allow local access via browser or app or any other way! Finally on restarting it tells me it needs emergency recovery which will wipe the system config. Luckily it’s back up and running after unplug/re plug but its still telling me the Unifi console needs to be restarted (which runs the nifty touchscreen). I can’t trust this device to act as the network controller if I can’t reliably access it. I’ve opened a support ticket… let’s see what happens… ## Frequently Bought Together - Ubiquiti Enterprise Security Gateway and Network Appliance with 10G SFP+ - Ubiquiti Networks UniFi 7 Pro | WiFi 7 Access Point | US Model | PoE+ Adapter not Included (U7-Pro-US) - Ubiquiti USW-24-POE Ethernet Switch --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.id/products/199152393-udm-pro](https://www.desertcart.id/products/199152393-udm-pro) --- *Product available on Desertcart Indonesia* *Store origin: ID* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
