I've ordered this a couple times for my terrariums. First time the lichen were doing very well (about 6mo to 1 yr), then I made the mistake of moving them to a closed terrarium. You'll want to use an open terrarium to make sure they don't get too wet (and die), and give them a little substrate (decaying wood). They come on a little clump of 'soil', though I think this is just their plant material they use as a substrate, so it'll be good for a while. I water/mist mine about once a week. They come in decent sized clumps, and I think the current picture describes the quantity accurately. The lichen arrived very healthy

Im building terrariums for the first time & had no idea what to put in it. This moss is really awesome & I got much more that I thought i would. The store emailed me directions on care. It gets really dry even though i spray it a couple times a week. I think that i need to plant it into real soil instead of potting soil though---i'd like some feedback?

I expected a bit larger samples. What I got was three bits each smaller than a silver dollar. The species look interesting but I just hop I can get these small samples to come to life.

We purchased this along with the large terrarium mix. The experience was identical. The colors are not as vivid as from the photos, especially the red tops for the british solidiers. They arrived in very small pieces and without much of a root system or substrate, so they would dry out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, they did not survive for long. Would like to see if other customers could share photos of their lichen and moss growing after a longer period of time.

I put them on the moist of some plants where they would get misted daily, but one just dried up, one is still living but not as big as when I received it, and one is doing fine under my plumosa fern.

You will receive what you see in the photo, at least I did. Shipping was reasonable and the product is still good and it’s been a month. I like to write my reviews after some time good merchant.

I received my delivery early. I love my lichens, they are bigger then I expected and in good shape. Very securely packed. I would definitely order from this company again!

The plants ordered were in very fine condition. By following the instructions that came with it, they have continued to thrive quite nicely. I would order from this place, again.
