Sinful Desire (Sinful Nights)

Sinful Desire is a steamy tale of secrets, seduction and sin that will have you on the edge of your seat with page turning anticipation. Ryan Sloan may have just taken the top spot for my all-time favorite Blakely boy and I simply cannot decide what I love most about him. While his dominating personality is certainly a force to be reckoned with, his fierce loyalty is both endearing and swoon worthy. He was the perfect blend of dirty talking alpha male and passionate lover. I loved everything about Sophie and found that I identified with her self-proclaimed nerd label and if I am being honest, even her submissive side. She was confident and sophisticated but found delight in the simple things too. Sophie is just one of the many Blakely women whom I adore and I appreciate that Lauren continues to deliver strong heroines that are both likeable and someone I would enjoy being friends with in real life. The chemistry was crazy hot between Ryan and Sophie which made for plenty of sexy exchanges and steamy encounters. And those emails were so much fun. The secrets and suspense added an increased level of anticipation to the story that kept me engaged from cover to cover. I always enjoy the cameos from characters found in Lauren’s plethora of books and get excited when I meet characters who I know have a story in the works. I thoroughly enjoyed Sinful Desire and am anxious for the next story, Sinful Longing, which is due out November 17, 2015. This book had everything you expect in a Lauren Blakely book, strong lead characters, some angst, and plenty of hot love scenes. This book did not disappoint, Ryan and Sophie's chemistry is palpable. The two meet in front of Vegas's municipal building, their eyes lock and sparks fly. They hit it off immediately and they set up a date without even knowing each others names. Sophie is a self made woman who has been wildly successful and can now devote her full time to being a philanthropist. She is gorgeous in that 50's bombshell way and I loved her from the word go! Ryan is a self made man who runs security business, he is alpha, in control, and has not interest in becoming attached to anyone. His dirty mouth is the reason I read erotica! What starts off as fun and games quickly heats up and turns into something more. But, secrets and lies from the past might destroy the fragile relationship that is being built. I never do spoilers, all I can say is it's Lauren Blakely, trust me you will enjoy this book! As always the characters, the story and the love scenes are interesting and sexy. Can't wait for the next one!

Lord have mercy can Lauren Blakely write a hot romance novel! She'd seduced him with her willingness, she'd lured him in with her sweet naughtiness, and she'd captivated him with her mind. Ryan Sloane is Ms. Blakely's dirtiest talking, hottest, dominate male to date...and that is saying something. And Sophie Winston is his perfect match. She was just such a delightful character, I want to be her. This book is the second in the Sinful Nights series, picking up where Sweet Sinful Nights left off...questions still abound about the murder of the siblings father and the guilt of their mother. Ryan has been burdened with his mother's secrets for years and it has slowly been eating away at him. He, more than his brothers and sister, has felt beholden to her- making sure he takes the time to visit her, even while he was away at school. While the family drama is a large part of this book it's not the main focus. This is really the love story between Ryan and Sophie. While Sophie has a lot of love to give, and has been looking for someone just like Ryan, he's not one to open his heart...never making it past a third date with a woman. Until Sophie. From the moment these 2 meet sparks fly...their chemistry is off the charts. I absolutely loved the progression of the relationship- what started out as a hot little interlude became so much more. Ryan didn't know what to do with himself when it came to Sophie- it was heartwarming and heartwrenching to see him go through so many emotions, as he realized she was worth so much more than what he had been giving her and that he was finally so very willing to give her his heart. His heart stuttered. It stopped beating for a moment, then it thumped harder against his chest, as if it were trying to fight its way out to get closer to her. I adored this book. I adore Ryan and Sophie. I adore the Sloane siblings. I'm trying not to gush over this book because that's really what I want to do. It's sexy and emotional, it's engaging and sweet, it's truly everything you could want in a contemporary romance novel. I will be sorry when this series comes to an end.

What a great read! Love this series but than again I love when an author ties old characters into their current book! Waiting for the next

This is so scorchingly hot. Ryan just oozes sex appeal from every pore and Sophie is his equivalent. Phew so hot and moreish to read. I loved them as a couple..The plot kept you intrigued and best of all...Johnny Cash :-) he's so cute. Can't wait to read the next book.

This was a great romance. An instant attraction with a great continuing storyline to go along with it. A few home truths that were devastating for Ryan, but all worked out in the end. Narration was awesome too.

Must read..you will love it!!

Wow, Blake and Shannon were hot, Ryan and Sophie are hotter. Another great book from Lauren. Can't wait for Colin and Michael's story. Great series
