This knife is super lightweight. Based on the size of the knife, when you pick it up you don’t expect it to be so lightweight. That’s a huge plus because you don’t have to wield something heavy and worry about precision cuts. The knife is super sharp. Kuhn Rikon makes the highest quality products.

I needed a good chef's knife for camping. This is scary sharp and has a nice sheath! Great knife for the money.

The best knives Ever!!! I got paring knives , too. I will be giving these out as gifts. As a dedicated foodie and great cook, I am always in search of good knives that will make my food preparation faster and easier. I tried these at friend's house and immediately ordered them . Great quality, fun colors, light but stable , cuts through everything as if it was hot butter. No need to press down or make any effort. Food (mostly) slides off it. Even if this one is not serrated - it cuts easily through any type of bread ! Amazing. I will be taking them on my trips, thanks to the nice protecting cover. Be careful : Very sharp. And I hope it will stay that way for a long time.

I have not used this particular knife yet, but have used one someone else has, which is why I bought my own. It works very well for chopping root vegetables and is very sharp. Seems to be made well for the price point. The handle seems to be made of molded plastic with no rivets. I cannot tell how far down into the handle the blade goes. I like that it comes with a protective blade sheath since it is so sharp.

Inexpensive, decent looking, and has a nice sharp edge. The Kuhn Rikon knives are great because they are decent quality, hold their edge well, and if you do happen to destroy it, it doesn't cost much at all to replace it. I've been using mine for about a month now and it's great. My parents have had a few of these for almost a year and they use them nearly every day and the edge still holds well. They use their honing steel (the round thing in your knife block) every once and a while, but have never had them sharpened and they still cut well.

I love this knife. Cheap but great. I may even like it more than the Victorinox one I (and everyone else) got after Cooks Illustrated said they were the bomb. I'm kind of small and have 6.5 glove size hands. This works better for me than the bigger Victorinox. Blade is still razor sharp and I haven't needed to sharpen it. Have used it at least every other day for 6 months. Graphite color is super cool looking as a bonus. Update: have moved this to our AirBnb rental house and I miss it! Guests have been abusing it (and the pointy black one) for a year and it is still perfect. Haven't even needed to sharpen it yet. When we are done our remodel, I'm getting more of these!

Good knives for the price.

Bought the small pairing knife from Amazon and like it so much. Therfore decided to buy this chef knife. It is very sharp and also appreciate the plastic handle. I had another wooden handle knife before, and the wood would peel off after some time.

These knives are great. They last forever and you don’t have to worry about them when you pack them in your suitcase or camping bag

This is now my favorite kitchen knife. It's less cumbersome than a full sized chef knife but long enough for most cutting tasks. Some knives seem to be harder to sharpen than others; this one is very easy to get hair-popping sharp. I use it all the time. It's relatively inexpensive too.

Este es mi primer cuchillo de chef, recientemente me mude solo y me equipé de diversos utensilios en donde procuré que además de cumplir su función se ajustaran a mi estética personal. Es un cuchillo muy bonito en color negro y con muy buen filo, nada se le resiste, estoy encantado. La cubierta es un plus. Lo compré en alrededor de 180 pesos y siento que quizás podría haber pagado más y aún estar satisfecho, se ve y se siente de calidad.

Me gusto por el mango ancho que lo hace facil de manejar y por la funda protectora. Tiene muy buen filo y este se ha mantenido despues de varias semanas de uso diario. Super recomendado.
