This is an excellent product. I ordered it for a middle school class studying ancient Egypt. It arrived quickly and was packaged nicely. The kids and I appreciated that it was authentic papyrus from Egypt...while holding the paper you could even see the layers and how it was made. Plus, it included a hieroglyphic cheat sheet of the alphabet for each child (one cheat sheet for each piece of paper). The paper is large enough to cut in half and share with more children. Highly recommend for any classroom as a way of connecting to the past...a wonderful experience!

As a high School teacher of students who have various learning challenges while possessing high intelligence and IQ I am constantly looking for ways to enrich their learning experience. In our world history studies about Egypt I found this papyrus on Amazon and ordered it in hopes they would see the connection to our present day use of written language and paper products. I was not disappointed.This set was a wonderful way to take the lesson off the textbook page and place it at their finger tips. They learned how to utilize the stencil to write their names and other words in hieroglyphics on the papyrus sheets included in the set. They thoroughly enjoyed our practical use of their lessons and I believe the experience and facts learned will stay with them for many years to come. Thank you for this wonderful product. I encourage all to purchase this great example of historical significance.

Arrived really quickly, great quality, great deal. The sheets were cheap enough to buy for school but nicer quality than I expected for the price. The color is even and light so the kids' artwork looks great, and they could really see and feel the grid of the papyrus stalks to see how the sheets are made. It does tend to curl as it's drying but is easy to flatten, or could be useful for a scroll project. A WONDERFUL surprise is that it comes with a small hieroglyphic alphabet sheet for each student! A big help for teaching, put those right in the laminator and every kid has their own.

Nice though a few sheets were too thin too use. Good value. I bought these to cut into 2" strips for book marks as gifts, writing the Greek alphabet on them with pronunciations, or Biblcal verses. People love them! Gives people a sense of what writers used in ancient times.

These convenient sheets of papyrus can be used to write messages that people will remember. I have used it for thank-you notes. The romance of papyrus is knowing it was used for thousands of years--long before the invention of paper made from rags and wood pulp. It is made without glue, simply slices of the reed laid criss-cross and pressed. I have papyrus growing in my backyard.

It came quickly and with a lot of extra care from the company to make sure it arrived and I was satisfied. The paper is thick and like all Papyrus lightly ridged, but very clean and tight (I've sometimes gotten Papyrus that was loose and hard to use). The little papers with hieroglyphs on them will be useful for my 6th grade students. The packaging is simple and has a lot of information about papyrus (plant and producing the paper) and a history of paper (from China to present day) on it as well as a larger version of the hieroglyphs card. Altogether a class act, I am very pleased with it. Thank you Crafts of Egypt!

Wow! Great papyrus paper. These are smaller sheets of papyrus (about half the size of computer paper) but plenty big to write hieroglyphs on. Nice texture and easy to write on. We also loved the packet that came with hieroglyph samples as it was easy to copy from. This was a fun and educational process to see how the paper was made and how they used the plant in such an interesting way! Great product!
