CompTIA A+ Certification Premium Bundle: All-in-One Exam Guide, Tenth Edition with Online Access Code for Performance-Based Simulations, Video Training, and Practice Exams (Exams 220-1001 & 220-1002)

This material is great; I feel well prepared for my A+ exam. It is important to note three items of importance. One, what is included in this premium bundle. Two, how to properly unlock all the material in the premium bundle. Third, how I am now accessing the material. First, Mike Meyers' company offers on its totalsem dot com website three components in its A+ certification training: TotalTester, its practice tests; TotalSims, its training simulations; TotalVideo, its training videos. In my rough estimation, this bundle gives you the book, the TotalTester tests, 30%-40% of the TotalVideo material, and about 90% of the TotalSims material. This bundle is priced appropriately. There is some confusion on how to unlock all the material in this premium bundle. This book ships as a hardcover books with a premium bundle dustcover. On the inside of the front hard cover there is a 10% off exam voucher code. On the inside of the back hard cover there is a code to unlock around 10% of the premium bundle. Lastly, on the backflap of the dustcover there is a a code to unlock all the content of this premium bundle. You want to use the code on the backflap of the dustcover. Lastly, the book is very heavy and the text of the book and TotalVideo content can be found in other places. First, I found it easier to read this book on the O'Reilly Online Learning app. This of course costs more money, but my tablet is lighter than the book and the pictures in the app are in full color. The picture in the book are in black and white. Second, the TotalVideo content can be found on Lynda/LinkedInLearnign. I happen to have free access to Lynda dot com. If I had to do this over again, I would have just bought the TotalSims and TotalTester bundle on totalsem dot com, subsrcibed to Oreilly Online Learning, and watched the TotalVideos content on Lynda dot com. Note, this approach would probably cost me about $100 more than this bundle here, but I would have access to all of the totalseminar content.

This is the "manual" that Microsoft should include with Windows 10! It is extremely well written with many useful illustrations. I recommend this book to anyone who needs help running and administering Windows. I have several Windows 10 books and this one is among the best. It is not cheap, but it is worth every penny it costs. There are numerous topics that are not discussed in my other Windows 10 books and those topicsxthat are hard to understand in other Windows 10 books are made clear in this book with simple, logical explanations. All-in-all, this is a superb book!

The people saying that they didn't get the access code maybe didn't check their email. I had access to the premium content as well as the total tester. I read the book each chapter, I didn't watch all the videos. I'm not real good with learning through videos. The practice questions did help to some degree I learned all of the ones that were in the pool of questions. The way I see it you need 3 things to pass. 1. Read A Book 2. Do a bunch of practice questions from diff sources (some are included with this book) 3. Watch some videos on YT for free. I Know I said three but number 4 is important. Schedule a date for the Test, I did them both on the same day (TODAY) and came out certified. Once you schedule the test you know its crunch time. But all in all, this book helped me get A+ Certified !!!!

Ok, I have figured out that all that is advertised is provided. HOWEVER, everything you expected to do is counter intuitive. In order to redeem you're going to have to look deeper. There are sims included, but its not under Total Sims. Its through a learning path that is spoon fed to you.

I used this as a lesson plan along with the official comptia 1001 and 1002 books. Using this book as a framework helped a ton. Sumplmenting it with the in depth study material and practice tests has been huge. I just follow this guide, and read the chapters in the other books as they correspond with this aio book. If youre like me, and youve been doing IT at places like staples and best buy for a number of years, this stuff will seem very familiar and easy... However its worth it just to polish up before the test. Its expensive but so worth it. Especially for that T2 paycheck you can go get now with that A+ cert.

Ignore the people saying it's a scam. The book specifies (see my pic) that there are two access codes; one in the appendix of the book which leads to sample content, and another which you'll receive via email which unlocks all of the content for the bundle. Overall, it's a good book and the online content is very helpful. Don't skip the bundle just because a few reviewers didn't read the instructions.

NOT A SCAM. Fast shipping. Book was in perfect condition. I decided to review and share how to find the product key. Hate to see anyone spend and not get the full value of your money. There are TWO product keys in the book. Yes, they didn't do a good job of making this fool-proof. The first attached picture is labeled with 1, 2, 3. 1. Generic product key that gives you access to free stuff. This is is printed on the inside of the hardcover in the back of the book. 2. Prime access product key that gives you access to all the training videos, sim, and tests. This is printed on the book sleeve on the inside of the back page. 3. 800 number for customer support. Happy studying.

I have just received my book and was weary about not having access to all the content based on previous reviews. I can confirm that it is all there on the website. People just haven't read the instructions and entered the correct serial numbers. The first serial is for creating a basic account then the other serial that you enter on another link gives you premium access to ALL the content! - Can't wait to get stuck into it again :D

I like the edition, well made and full of information, but the book was published in 2019 and I didn't know that you only had 3 years since the book's publication for you to have access to the online content. I am a bit shocked to know this information now that I have wasted my money.

College

I'm studying for the exam and I've accessed all the premium features. Everything is very useful. There are 3 types of access for the online content. Free which grants access to a few videos, premium which includes 60 hours of videos and simulations, and the full access to all videos and simulations which costs $350. I wanted more than premium but didn't want to pay so much so I found out that Mike offers the same videos on his Udemy course for a deep discount. His videos are awesome too because he is quirky, excited, and uses varied models vs reading from a PowerPoint. The book is useful, but if you want engagement and to see the material come alive; you should access the videos by any means.

I like the book, but some parts explain stuff like you're a kid. About the premium content, I'm not that happy. Once I activated it, I found that most of the video classes from Mike you have to buy it... A lot. You start the chapter and there is 2 or 3 videos from mike explaining a little bit, but theres like more 6 or 7 videos that you have to buy. And the TotalVideo its not cheap at all. As the time passes I will see if this bundle was a waste of money. There's a ton of online contect for free besides this...
