Bactimicina Sore Throat Lozenges Maximum Strength, Orange Flavor, Oral Analgesic with Benzocaine for Fast Action Relief, 18 Count

Discovered these while sick with a sore throat and an awful cough from post-nasal drip cough. Between my husband and I, we purchased at least eight varieties of cough drops and these were the only brand that gave lasting relief for that tickle in the back your throat. I would also recommend for mouth irritation due to night guards, Invisalign (maybe traditional braces too, but I can't say from personal experience), and stimulant medication (I had to stop my ADHD meds while sick and I always get ulcers for the first week or so after being off--these are a godsend). I am also not a fan of menthol or mint of any kind and the only other brand that gave significant relief had the benzocaine + menthol. I don't know whether this brand has any other flavors, but the orange is very tasty.

These taste like orange candy! No medicinal taste whatsoever. I can't stand menthol, so it was such a relief to find these without it. They are very effective at numbing the mouth, tongue and throat. You can dissolve one every 2 hours, so that's great too! They are also much more affordable than another product someone recommended.

A friend who is a nurse recommended these and boy am I glad she did - they work!!! Soothes that horrid scratchy feeling and lasts a good while too.

These lozenges do a great job of quieting a sore throat. The taste is not bad. The secret I think is to place it at the back of the tongue to let it dissolve and last longer.

Gross tasting, but works

This product might work too good for some people. It is pure benzocaine and will numb the throat and gag reflex. Be careful.

This is a great lozenge that works and tastes good. It is hard to find a good lozenge with Benzocaine that tastes good. The orange flavor is pleasant and it works well. I have tried several including the Chloraseptic Max nut this one works better and tastes better.
