**Q: Can i connect the 791 speakers to bose professional  powermatch pm8500 power amplifier**
A: Thank you for your inquiry. No, the Virtually Invisible 791 In-Ceiling Speakers II are compatible with stereo/home-theater receivers that provide 10-100 W per channel, 4-8 ohms. The PM8500 is a professional amplifier intended to be used with much larger speakers. This amplifier provides 4000 W (500 W x 8 channels at 4 ohms) which would over power the 791 speakers. **Q: Can these work with sonos amp which has 125w at 8ohms per channel?**
A: All my Sonos speakers are Bose 791s connected to Sonos amps. Both types, the older connect:amp and the new Amp. Sounds fantastic.

**Q: Do these speakers support chain wiring?**
A: I used 10 gauge copper strand wire. I bit excessive though

Don’t mind the mess, we just moved into the house and this was one of the first things my wife wanted. I was skeptical at first, but it’s probably the best purchase we’ve made for the house so far. We don’t use it for the typical tv surround sound, but instead use it while we are cleaning the house or cooking dinner. As to expect from Bose, the sound quality is exceptional. I was worried that we might need a sub or something to go along with it, but it has enough bass for us! We live in the middle of nowhere, so we can turn it up and hear it basically anywhere in the house too. Also, something that I didn’t think of before purchasing is that we used to use just our Alexa, which has a directional sound, so if your talking with someone and closer to the speaker it’s can be hard to hear or you have to talk over it. Whereas these ceiling speakers give an even ambient sound throughout the room so everyone can hear the music but also still hold a conversation. It’s great. As for installation, it was my first time doing anything like this and it was pretty darn easy. Hardest part is finding a way to run the wires to your amplifier.
