Works for all assets that I need as a police officer! Most of the officers at my department have one. The one down fall is that it does go through batteries fairly quickly. I change out batteries every few weeks, but to be fair I work nights so I'm using it for hours on end on almost a daily basis. The focus makes this light well worth it. Helps for singling out directions with the fully focused beam. And is invaluable for brightening up whole rooms or areas when searching.
