Matte Black 5" iBoard Running Boards 15-16 Ford F-150 SuperCrew CabPurchased this aftermarket running board for my 2015 F-150 CREW. Fit was great, just follow instructions, do not tighten bolts until all pieces have been assembled. It makes it easier to level and align. I would start by laying the pieces on the ground next to the truck to visualize their correct orientation before bolting. Start with one side first, once you get one side down the other will take half the time. Total installation time was about 1.5 hours. They could have labeled the pieces much user friendly such as Front Driver, Center Driver, Rear Driver, instead they label parts with random letter combinations with no significance to orientation. You'll have to refer to pictures and illustration on directions along with written portion. With a little common sense you'll be able to figure it out.The quality is very sturdy. No bend, sway, bounce, or frown when stepping up or down. Factory boards are 6". I purchased the 5" which I think fit my truck perfectly. Not to bulky and not to skinny. Plenty of enough tread to place a meaty foot and doesn't look like a wing. Really blends well with the trim at the top of the truck bed. The steel mounts already come painted and protected but I sprayed them with Rust-Oleum to further protect from the elements. Use the provided plastic washers where their steel products mount directly to the aluminum body to avoid metal on metal contact and prevent corrosion transfer. I plan to apply herculiner on the running board tread to give a superior grip.It hasn't shown any signs of give or failure so I'm very happy. Until I update this product I'm very happy and strongly recommend this product.

I ordered the 5" Black running boards and installed them on a 2017 F-250 Crew Cab. I wish I'd ordered the 6" boards now but I wasn't sure. These will do nicely but the larger boards would probably be more appropriate for a full-size truck like this.The running boards arrived in good condition and all parts were in the package. They were fairly well protected and wrapped well in plastic.Install on this truck is very easy. There are 3 sets of threaded studs on the underside of both sides of the truck. The mounting brackets fit perfectly over the various sets of threaded studs. It's just a matter of putting on the vinyl insulating washing, placing the bracket on a set of studs, placing a flat washer on the stud and threading the nylon lock-nut in place. No need to really worry about exact placement of the brackets (they have a slot that allows about 1/2" of front/rear movement...I slid them all to one side) just put them on and tighten them down.Place the T-bolts in the slots on the underside of the boards and line them up with the installed brackets. Put the washers and nuts on, center and position the board where you want it and tighten the nuts. Done.If you can turn a wrench you can install these running boards yourself...at least on this particular truck. These boards look good and they're functional. The stock tires that came on my truck shed small rocks like crazy (and I live on a gravel road) so I'm hoping these will not only make it easier to get into/out of the truck but it will protect the finish from rocks, gravel and other debris thrown up by the tires.The price is fantastic. Now it's just a matter of waiting to see how these boards hold up to long-term use.***UPDATE***I've had these boards installed on the truck for a little over 6 months now. The only issue I've noticed is some finish wear on the driver side on the edge. The finish is wearing off right on the sharp edge in a line about 6" long. It must be the high traffic area where I place my foot to get in/out of the truck.Other than that these have been trouble free. They're still nice and tight, no rattles, no loose parts.I'm still very happy with these running boards.

Just to start.... I wasn't paid for this review. I love these boards. The install took my daughter and I about 45 min to install. we loosely assembled the and brackets on both the truck and boards (two piece system for all three brackets) and then it bolted right up. The only reason that I am giving this a 4 star is the fact that both boards have dents in them. The shipping box didn't have any sign of damage so it must have been packaged this way. I weigh 180 and these boards hold my weight with no flex. I was worried about the rubber topping on them coming off in a car wash but I have had no complaints... if it wasn't for the dents these would for sure be getting a 5 star review.Update 02/28/19These are incredible looking still and there have been no issues. They are a little noisy then driving in th rain (water hitting them) but other than that they are incredible. I have people ask about them all the time, including the audio shop that worked on my radio.

Very disappointed in this product. Installed them in November 2018 and noticed when I was hand washing my truck this summer that the paint was already peeling off them. I'm sure that after this coming winder, they will be rusting too. Of course, the manufacturers warranty is 6 months, not good to me. Attached pictures were taken in July 2019. This is the back of the running board, so it's not a rock chip.Save your money. Don't buy this junk.

Easy install on my 2016 F150 Super crew and looks great !!Will update later when I have got some use out of them.Update 06/20/19No issues, quality product. Would highly recommend.Update 03/01/20I guess I should have waited longer before my first update. Because now the paint is chipping/flanking off exactly where I get in and out of drivers side. Either the paint or the prep of surface proves to not be very durable. I will need to do periodic touch ups now. And this is from normal use, and I baby my vehicles. So I will down grade my original review of the product to satisfactory after just 1 year of use.

Highly recommended. High quality product with only one third of Ford stock running board. Looks awesome on my new F150. Installation is very straightforward. I sprayed all the brackets with undercoating and applied grease on the nuts just to add extra protection against rust.

I wouldn't even give these a full star if I could select it. They looked great when I first put them on. It's been seven months. The mounts have completely rusted. All the paint flaked off. That I figured was going to happen because they were not powder coated. But the actual running boards themselves have completely been destroyed. I have not put much for mileage on the truck. I live in a part of the country where salt is not used on the roads in the winter and I always keep my truck clean including my running boards. It literally looks like someone sandblasted the aluminum away. I wish I could return these and get my money back. DONT BUY.

Corrodes rather quickly, steel hardware doesn't line up as well as it should. I've had these for a couple years now. Reasonable buy for the price, but not top of the line. 50/50 whether I would buy them again

Easy to install and hopefully take most of the abuse of 6 miles of gravel roads a day commuting. Ford did most of the legwork in that the studs are already installed on the body for mounting, so takes 2 beer max to install. Decent price for what I’m expecting to get destroyed regardless of quality. 2019 f-150 here. Just a nice, simple, decent looking set of boards.

Very easy to install... Very sturdy and solid ... We had another type of tube running board and they barely lasted a year...these are made to with stand salty roads and stone roads ...we've had them now for about 6 weeks and my husband goes down stone roads all the time and they still look like new

Fit perfectly. Installed in a couple of hours. And saved several hundred dollars. And they look great. What’s not to like!?

Absolutely as advertised, they look terrific and a perfect fit. Though I must admit I had them professionally fitted at a dealership, the technician commented that they were easy to install and in his opinion, as good as OEM boards at half the price. With free shipment, this was outstanding value for money.

Looks great on my truck, not too big as to look out of place. The downside is my wife can get in the truck now. Lol. These are very easy to install, I did mine while it was snowing. It took less than an hour to install.

the running board is 100% same as the photo. it is easy to install. only the quality of nuts used under board is not very good. the plastic thread is so easy to be broken. Be careful when screwing them tight.

Easy to install studs already on truck seem very sturdy good bang for the buck

I like the sleek look and style well worth the money allow about 1.5 hrs to install if you are doing it alone there is a bit of adjustment for how far out you want them.

I bought these for my husband's truck they mount to the underside of his truck. His F150 has pre drilled holes to mount running boards, these fit perfectly. At such a fantastic price too!!! He got them on his truck no problems. Did it in a couple hours.
