The text reads "Temperature range: 40 F. to 212 F. ( 40 celcius to 100 Celsius) Packaged" 212F is the same as 100C. 40F doesn't equal 40C, BUT -40F is the same as -40C. Lastly, if this hose failed at 40F it would be worthless anywhere north of Miami. **Q: What size fitting is on each end---1/2"? Thanks.** A: 3/8” pipe **Q: The picture says it’s 72 inches long in the description is 12 inches which is correct?** A: Mine was 72 inches. **Q: will this hose work to transfer propane?** A: You would need adapters to connect to the tank and burner so I would say yes it would work but the fittings would be hard to find to adapt.
