Im about a third of the way done with this book and have got to say this book is very well written and has many great tips and options for what do do with your money I had never even heard of some of the things mentioned in this book great read for those wanting to learn about investing early on and options for different amounts depending on how much your able to or comfortable with investing. Overall great read for anyone interested in investing in their future definitely recommend.

It’s a super basic read that introduces you to a variety of investment options. Keep in mind it’s an older book, so some investments and websites in the book don’t exist anymore. If you’re totally brand new to investing, this book does have some good info buried in it. My suggestion is to take topics from the book and then explore them more through YouTube videos or other sources. Example of the book vs our world these days: You can do fractional shares through many apps, but that didn’t exist when this book was written. Overall, I think it’s fine for the price if you are new to investing.

Didn't end up reading much of it. I got to the part where it was talking about finding a bank with an express line and stopped there. I didn't do my due diligence and check beforehand, but this book was written in 1987. It seems outdated. I'm sure at the time it was a good read. Book and condition arrived, as expected. If you're really looking for investing today, I'd look for a newer book.

this book looks simple in the way that it looks written for college boys, but just Americans: no notions of economics, short and scholastic descriptions of the financial tools but only those of the American market. Essentially useless

Gd book

First off I have to be honest, I bought this book mainly because it was a penny (plus postage), also I have started to save and invest in shares. So I was hoping to get some advice and tips out of this book, but whilst there are some pearls of wisdom here to be had for sure, it’s rather hard for this Brit to take it all in seeing as how all of this book is American centric. There are money saving habits in here and ways of setting easy goals that I will use going forward but I didn’t think it would be so skewed to the US. On reflection I should of see it coming with the dollars to dollars saving on the cover. That’s buyer error for you. Good points are it’s easy to read, well laid out with lots of bullet points. So, not really for me, but am understanding of American finance can be found here, so that’s good I guess.
