Pop Filter for Blue Yeti X Mic - Foam Microphone Windscreen Cover with Velvet-like Fabric Covering to Reduce Mic Noises by YOUSHARES

I am no professional but this fit my Yeti X perfectly, It seems a lot of these say they are YETI X but are for the Yeti and you can jamb them on the YETI X. This one is shaped like the YETI X so that fits perfectly. Not having a Yeti or one of these before I cannot say, how it compares to others, but I record a podcast in Adobe Audition and I don't notice any of the things people say, like the pops etc, in my speech so I assume it works well. It is weirdly soft like velvet and I have a Bengal who doesn't shed much at all, but loves to roam my office desk so it has picked up a few hairs here and there, such is the life. it is plush and stays put, I think it is a good buy.

Prior to buying this product I had tried to save money on a cheaper foam windscreen cover that was clearly inferior. That one had been a serious struggle to get on without tearing and in the end did little to improve the sound quality of my Yeti (even when I tried to help it out by applying two layers of quilt batting with a rubber band over the top. As it turns out in my effort to save money it actually resulted in me throwing money away. On the other hand, this one immediately felt like a quality product. For starters it was nearly twice the size and took no effort to slip onto my microphone. The velvety surface covering the high quality thicker foam also does a much better job at removing the echo so it no longer sounds like I'm recording from a locker room. Very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend!

It definitely isn't the best when it comes to completely isolating noise, though it does a great job regardless, and is still a worthwhile purchase.

Super easy installation. I often have the mic sideways on a small arm/boom and it doesn’t fall off. It will fall off when bumped but goes right back on. No sound issues when recording or on meetings.

There’s a noticeable increase in the quality of recording my voice with this on, while slightly reducing background noise.

Sound great for recording and media conversation

I purchased this for my Yeti X. It is a nice quality filter, made of more of a velvet material than simple foam. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the mic particularly well. It's more like a sleeve than it is fitted on there. I have my mic on a boom. If you were to adjust it, or angle it down, it's likely this filter will fall off. I use a rubber band to secure it, which works great. But that doesn't seem like something that should be necessary.
