It held fuel for 24 hours but seemed to leak back after 48 hours. I just added the second one in the in the engine bay. I have an electric pump so running it with no fuel in the line would likely shorten its life span. The second will hopefully keep enough fuel by the pump to eliminate that risk. After adding the second valve in the engine bay my Jeep started with no problem after sitting for a few days and kept running without starving for fuel. It's got a 360 innit and just kept rumbling. Evil Energy offered my money back but since one wouldn't keep the line full, but for the price, having two valves in place I have no complaints whatsoever with this product.
