Spark Lighter with FLINTS Ignitor Sparker for Torch - 6 Strikers & 10 FLINTS (E13)

This stove lighter is the best thing that has happened at my house. I live my two daughters and matches finish quickly. Ti's spark lighter with flint is the answer to my matches dilemma. Three Plumes Matches don't stand up well so I've replaced matches with this awesome lighter and boy am I relieved. Try these lighters, you won't regret it.

Love using this simple striker to light our gas stove when the power goes out! Great deal to be able to have back ups AND flints too! Problem Solved... No need to store matches nor store cigarette/grill lighters to light our gas grill or stove anymore!

The igniters on our gas cooktop burners quit working, and we were using up a lot of those disposable lighters to get them started. Since we knew we'd be moving soon, it wasn't worth the expense to repair or replace the cooktop when it worked perfectly fine once lit. I thought these would be a more environmentally friendly solution and, to some extent, they were. They're easy to operate: just squeeze. When fresh out of the box, the spark was strong enough to quicky ignite the burner. After several uses though, we had to get it very close to a burner to ignite and, eventually, the spark became too weak. There's a little piece of flint in there that scrapes across a steel rasp to make the spark, which I knew. What I didn't realize was how quickly the flint wears down. When it no longer makes good contact with the steel rasp, it will make a small spark or none at all. Within a few weeks of purchasing them, we moved to a house with an electric stove, so I didn't figure out how to make them last longer. If the flint were replaceable, you could keep using these indefinitely to spark a gas burning flame appliance. As-is, they're great for short-term use.

I've tried many brands of strikers only to be disappointed. These hold there shape as they should. Other brands bend easily.

I purchased these to replace some old and rusty strikers we had for ages and I’m so glad I did. They even come with replacement flint. Worth the price!
