I will comment and rate on the condition of the book in the reseller section, since that’s generally a better place. However, what I will rate is the content of the book. Honestly, so far this is just awful. My child struggles with reading and the first few stories in this “Into Reading” book is more like “Get me out of Reading”. There is an excessive number of foreign language words that my child is unable to read, why would anyone think this is a good idea? I even speak the foreign language in the book, but why would I put my child through this torture? This is supposed to be for kids to read in English! My child is completely confused at this point and unable to finish more than a handful of pages in one of these horrid stories. I’m forced to use the book because that’s what the school uses, and I had to purchase an extra book for home use. Total money in the trash, but in the pocketbook of HMH.
