Connect one blue (the correct one according to diagram), and one red to the positive side of switch to light LED at all times. Connect to the other blue wire to the load end (+) and the black to ground. **Q: Will the led work with 6 volts DC?** A: Yes, it should work but the LED will not be as bright. A red LED needs a voltage drop of about 1.8 volts to operate. The brightness depends on current, which is controlled by a resistor in series with the LED. The resistor is sized to limit the maximum current to a value that will not damage the LED. I am not sure of the value of the resistor used on this switch but this shouldn’t be a problem at 6 volts DC. **Q: is the light wired to its own terminals?
