Set up was pretty easy, and intuitive. Chair looks great, and is super comfortable!

Very easy to put together took under 30mins. For someone whose 6ft though the back goes up to about a fist under shoulder height for it. Arm rests a bit short but they're doable. Decent comfort. Very sturdy when screwed in all the way. Don't need two people just do it sideways leaned against something. Overall just wish it'd be a tad bit taller on the back and you can also add extra cushioning to it.

This replaced a second hand desk chair which was losing all of it's adjustability options. And though the seat back holder was metal, it was starting to crack, and had me leaning back more and more, so I had to get a new chair. Which brought me to this chair for my home computer desk... Not as many adjustment options on this one (just the raise/lower and the slight recline lock on/off), but I wasn't expecting that on this budget-minded chair. At least the maximum pitch of the recline option is on par with your average airline seat, which is far better than my older, rickety chair. The entire chair is upholstered in a easy-to-clean leather-like fabric (no mesh anywhere), which I believe will survive scratching cats than meshy fabrics. The back support is comfy-sturdy, but has an accessible inner cavity (more on this later) and the seat is also cushioned well. The legs and the base are all metal, including the five leg coverings. The plastic sections that shroud the pneumatic lift are flimsier plastic sheaths. The armrests are non-adjustable and a bit shoter than my old chair. Minimal softer plastic-like cushioning on the armrests, but I'm fine with that. My only real issue about this chair is the cheap plastic armrest caps which cover the bolt assemblies between the armrests and the seats and seat backs -- they randomly pop off -- but it shouldn't be an issue unless you are anal about the cosmetic look about the chair. Assembly was fairly easy, with all the tools, nuts, bolts and screws were all grouped and labled in a sturdy "blister pack" (think OTC cold capsule packaging at the drug store). *** ABOUT THE BACKREST CAVITY -- NOTE *** This is where Amazon Basics saves packaging space. Your delivery box may look a bit on the smaller side. Don't worry! Much of the chair assembly (legs, tools, caps,etc...) is stored INSIDE the backrest during shipping. All you need to do is to unzip the contents from that cavity and voila! Everything is there. There should be red ribbons and/or strips RED tape to remind you the essentials are zipped up in the cavity. Once everything is out of the inside of the backrest, you theoretically can add more cushioning, back massager or similar -- although I haven't needed to do it yet. 4 stars due to the flimsy plastic caps and lift sheaths. But again, that is just cosmetic stuff and not durability issues.

I recently got this office chair for my desk, and so far I’m really happy with it. This chair is to replace an older chair that had simply worn out over a span of about 15 years of use. I was looking for a quick, budget minded replacement and then will spend probably weeks looking at a higher quality chair, with full high back. At this price, I was not expecting a high quality chair, and that is what I got. It is more or less easy to assemble. It can be a bit tricky when assembling the arm rest. I loosely attached the back two bolts, then the seat. I did the same on the other side, and then tightened them in sequence : Outer back and outer seat bolts, then inner back and inner seat screws. The threads on the back and seat frame are pre-machined but with very little tolerance so you need to be careful not strip them out if you start them at even just a slightly off-angle. Assembling the base and height adjustment assembly went much easier. The chair has a metal inner frame, and base is also metal (there is some wood on the inside sides of the back and perhaps inside the seat). There is some plastic in the base assembly, but that is only cosmetic. Armrest frames are plastic as well. I also replaced the wheels with higher grade wheels I already had on hand (these have a slightly wider tread as well as slightly larger diameter). Finally I went back through and retightened all the screws, taking care not to overtighten. Assembly completion from opening the box to final check was about 30 minutes. The faux leather covering is what you would expect in a chair at this price range. The seat padding is very firm (too firm?) but not uncomfortable for me, but will have to see how it feels after a long session at my computer. The biggest disappointment is the nearly hollow back with NO filling or padding (this is where the parts are stored when shipped). Very little to no support! I had a large bag of batting I was going to use for another project in the near future but decided to stuff it into the back (the bottom has a zipper ... remember, this is where the parts were stored). I took care to install the batting evenly, taking care not to overstuff. It made a big difference. The other disappointment was that, although listed as a mid-back chair, it is just barely that. Many other chairs (higher price) typically have at least a 24" inside back length for a mid-size chair back, as measured from the top of the seat ... this one is 22" The seat depth could have been maybe and inch deeper, as many chairs at this price have (this chair at 17.75" is barely enough). I am 5'11" and wight about 190 lbs. If you are taller or heavier, this chair might not work well for you. (My daughter, who is medium build at 5' 7" thought it was comfortable for her). So here is my summary: PRO: Good price. Seems to be sturdy enough with full metal frame and base. Assembly a bit tricky but just need to be patient and have good lighting. CONS: Seat depth a bit too short. Back offers little to no support without some fill (DIY). So overall, this will do until I can spend some time to look at chairs in person, with better overall quality.

This chair was fun to assemble, it’s in great condition and it’s very very comfortable. I was having back problems and now my back feels so much better sitting on this chair because I work from home and it is excellent.!

A decent price, clean lines, and a name long enough to sound like someone tried really hard. But don’t be fooled. After living with this chair for 18 months, I can confidently say that calling it “basic” is generous. This thing is a slow-motion ergonomic tragedy. I'm not even a heavy user...this chair sits at a home desk, not a call center and yet it’s falling apart like a toddler’s Lego tower. Comfort: For the first week or two, the chair is passably comfortable. Then the padding compresses, the seat flattens like a pancake at a truck stop diner, and every hour feels like you're being punished for a crime you didn’t commit. The back support? Non-existent. I’d get more lumbar support leaning against a wall. Sitting in this chair for more than an hour at a time feels like penance and no amount of adjusting will save you. Adjustability: Sure, it adjusts up and down. That’s about where the good news ends. The tilt mechanism is laughable — either it’s locked upright like a church pew, or it reclines with all the grace and stability of a shopping cart with a broken wheel. The tension knob? Pure decoration. Turning it does about as much as yelling at a thunderstorm. Durability: After only 18 months, mine is literally falling apart. The seat cushion is collapsing. But if you actually plan to sit in it regularly? Don’t do it. You’re better off buying a decent secondhand chair on Craigslist. Or honestly, sitting on a milk crate. This chair is a monument to the bare minimum. It’s uncomfortable, poorly built, aging faster than unrefrigerated mayonnaise and destined for the landfill before its second birthday. 1/5 stars. Perfect for WFH

1. No creo que sea para personas muy grandes, por que sólo mide 60cm de ancho con todo y brazos para que lo tomen en cuenta. 2.La postura es muy buena, mi espalda queda totalmente recta y es cómoda a pesar de usarla varias horas seguidas. 3. Los brazos están un poco más abajo de lo normal por lo que si buscas recargar los codos para trabajar al nivel de un escritorio puede que no te funcione tanto (a mi me queda Perfecto por que entra por completo debajo de la mesa y mis codos quedan sobre el escritorio). 4.Pesa 11 kg en la caja pero una vez armada es muy ligera. 5.Fue fácil de armar (la mayoría de las piezas vienen dentro del respaldo) 6.Creo que el terminado es bueno, se ve elegante y sobria. 7. Buena relación calidad/precio.

Montage nécessaire mais facile a faire , confortable

Muy buena silla, no muy difícil de armar y cómoda. Es importante mencionar que trabajo 10 hrs continuas en ella y soy una persona que es pesada, tengo ya 2 semanas con ella y no ha sufrido desgaste aparente. Eso sí si tienes gatos es mejor que tengas cuidado

Es la primera silla que compro de este estilo, se ve muy bonita, pero tengo la impresión que no durará mucho, el respaldo es hueco y tiene como un estilo cintas bien engrapadas que son las que dan el soporte, la parte donde uno se sienta es comoda, pero se siente corta a las piernas, de momento he visto que se salen los tapones de los tornillos de los descansa brazos, en general bien, pero la calidad regular buena, falta ver que tanto dura. Creo que por el precio podría tener mejor soporte.
