Our local radio did a special and discussed basic things to have in the house for disaster, and I was expecting huge costs and all sorts of side effects, but not so. There are great to have on hand, why doesn't everyone? We bought enough for some neighbors and friends near our house. They are so inexpensive with such life-saving impact in disaster. I wasn't into building a little prepper stash until I saw these - and realized every single house should have them.

But if we do, this is the best brand in the world to have on hand. Exceptionally high quality product from the leading manufacturer. Counted on by governments and militaries. I count on it for my family and my pets, God forbid the unthinkable happens. If you want to survive “the day after”, you need this product. Great peace of mind and a key element to any true survival kit.

I hope I never have to use it, but the expiration is only 5 years, which feels a bit short for something meant for emergencies.

Now if they could just pack it in vacuum pack / sturdy packaging for preppers....the cardboard is flimsy.

Good expiration date - 10 years from now. Now I can only hope I will never need it.

Packaged individually in blister packs should keep these fresh. Expiration date is a few years out, so good there. Even then, expiration dates are a guideline for peak potency and will still be effective if we aren't nuked by then.
