Ip Man 4 - The Finale [DVD] [2019]

Fantastic movie ! Excellent quality

Well, they certainly bring the legend of Ip Man to a conclusion, as well as cover the Bruce Lee links (not sure how much of that story is fiction). Fights are awesome (that's what you wanted to hear) and the story is quite sensitive to the plight of Chinese people in USA in the 60's. A worthy end to this story.

So. 4 stars due to performance - the acting and fight sequences. Storywise.... Id give it a 2. I feel uneasy of this film as it really appears to b somewhat biased against the white people....? Or mayb not, its just the impression I get. I wasn't around when the errrrm troubles happened in the 60s (?) so sure it could've been as bad as depicted. The plot is somewhat flimsy. A highlight would b when Bruce Lee shows up, but really the character plays more a cameo role than anything else. The actor who plays the role, however, does really bear an uncanny resemblance to the real Bruce Lee. The score was interesting and satisfactory. I don't think this film and similar movies shows up the non whites nor the white people of the time period in any particularly good a light. As I said, the bias factor, personally, left a somewhat sour taste.....dont feel like the whoopi factor at the end of fights nor the end of the movie, if anything its all actually rather predictable. It's been quite a franchise and Donnie Yen has made the role so him. Very satisfied, as always, with the swift and secure Prime delivery.

What a great movie... Donnie Yen doesn't let me down. This is an amazing movie in the franchise, I'm not a fan of them trying to add comedy in this movie but the fact that this is the last in the franchise with Donnie Yen is very sad. I would highly recommend for any martial arts fan.

Watched all 4 now enjoyed everyone they have got a mixture of subtitles and English but it does not spoil the action or story I would definitely recommend 5 star
