From my own experience, when making more than two pies, I have made a homemade crust recipe with butter and/or shortening, and THEN added this mix before adding the (additional) water. It makes a phenomenal crust for sweet or savory pies, and is less work for my arthritic hands. Twice the crust with 1/2 the hand-work, and no one can tell the difference.
