I made a purchase that I initially regretted, lol, but I must admit it works remarkably well. My mom tends to stay on the call button, which can be a bit amusing since she should really be sleeping, but I don’t mind too much. The sound is quite loud, and everyone in the house can hear it clearly. On the plus side, the device is lightweight, making it easy to handle. It has an impressive range, reaching all the way from my room upstairs. One of the features I appreciate is the volume control, which allows me to adjust the sound up or down as needed. Overall, it's a great value for the money.

Excellent product. Great for in-house/in home use. No one has to yell for help. Loud enough to wake you but not enough to make you angry. The portable transmitter is good for getting help from inside if you have a problem while you’re outside.

Becoming a caregiver for an elderly person is scary. This product is basically a set of wireless door chimes. The elderly person is given help-me buttons to keep in the pocket or wear on a lanyard. Press the button and all the chimes you plugged in around the house go off at once. (The coverage is solid in my 3-floor, 2,000 ft townhome.) There are also self-stick buttons that I have mounted near the toilet and shower in case of a bathroom emergency. Each doorbell (the plug-in units that alert the caregiver) has two onboard buttons. One is to adjust the volume and it works well. The other is to adjust the inherently irritating electronic tunes that are played when the unit is activated. I was unable to program the sound/melody that I wanted in these doorbells. Because the set is fully functional without choosing one of the other fancy sounds, I should have just left well enough alone and stuck with the default sound. Instead, I called the Amazon helpline and was immediately assisted by a nice young man. He explained that I was supposed to have received a 3-button unit that is more easily programmable. He promised to send it to me. Instead, I received another set of the two-button type I already had. It was a nice try, Amazon. Bottom line: this is a solid product I can highly recommend, so long as you don't mind the secondary programming issue. For me, a solid alert mechanism outweighs my inability to get the doorbells to sing some European wedding song.

The system has very good range and worked well out of the box. But the default ringtone was too close to my door bell. It took awhile to figure out how to change it. The factory directions are short and imprecise. This is what I have learned. BACKGROUND INFORMATION The "receivers" are the devices with the AC plugs and speaker. The "transmitters" come in two flavors: 1. The round call buttons 2. The oval shaped device with the black plastic band across the bottom. The button is in the middle of the black band. The "smarts" are in the receivers. A receiver assigns a ringtone to a transmitter as part of the pairing procedure. You can pair multiple transmitters to a receiver in a single procedure. The receivers are independent devices. They do not cooperate with each other. If you have three receivers you will have to do the pairing procedure three times. RINGTONE SELECTION AND PAIRING Plug in an extension cord and place the socket end by a comfortable chair or sofa. Get ALL your transmitters and receivers and place them within easy reach. Plug a receiver into the extension cord. Allow 10 seconds for the receiver to power up. Click the "Volume Button" repeatedly until it is at the lowest audible setting. This will save wear and tear on your ears. Press and HOLD the "Ringtone Button" for 20 seconds to reset the receiver to default settings and remove all existing pairings between the receiver and transmitters. Release the "Ringtone Button". Click the "Ringtone Button" repeatedly and select your favorite ringtone. Press and HOLD the "Volume Button" for at least 5 seconds with one hand, then with your other hand click a transmitter's button to pair the two units and assign the previously selected ring tone to the transmitter. You will hear the receiver play the previously selected ring tone. This is your confirmation that the two units paired successfully. Continue to hold the "Volume Button". Pickup the next unpaired transmitter and click its button. You will again hear the previously selected ring tone. This is your confirmation that the two units paired successfully. Repeat with the next unpaired transmitter while continuing to hold the "Volume Button" on the receiver. You can release the "Volume Button" after you have paired the last transmitter. Repeat the "Ringtone Selection And Pairing" process with each receiver.

My father was discharged a month after suffering a stroke and was finally coming home. I didn't anticipate the severity of his paralysis, and was thinking of ways he could call me when he needed something. He had trouble calling me on his phone, so I thought maybe a Walkie-talkie. That was not a good idea since he also has dysphagia, which doesn't give him the strength to speak for long. I was thinking I need a simple device that would relay a signal to a receiver. Then I saw this great item and thought I'd take my chances. I'm so glad I did, because all my father has to do is press the button and I'll hear the chime go off to the room I have the receiver plugged into. It comes with two transmitters, which one is a push button and the other is touch sensitive, which is really sensitive, helpful for individuals who struggle pushing a button. It really has been a big help to me and my father when he needs to call me for whatever need. I am truly glad I found this little gem and am extremely satisfied with it.

A good way to give help especially at night giving peace of mind.

These are great for someone worried about an older person you're watching. GF's father was getting worse in his 90's and was living in her cottage, away from the main house. I installed the button he would push in the cottage, and then installed the receiver devices in our house. The one receiver in our bedroom was probably 70-75ft away; worked perfectly. The only real problem with his age, was trying to get him to understand to push the button in emergencies. After his health started failing, we moved him into our house to keep a watchful eye, but still allowing him his autonomy with a private area. I moved the sending unit to his bathroom, and mounted it lower towards the floor in the event he ever fell getting in/out of his bath/shower. Overall, yes, I highly recommend this device with 1 sending unit and 2 reveivers we could place in different areas of the house

Funciona muy bien, era lo que buscaba para mis padres. El sonido es fuerte pero no molesta y ponerlo en varias partes de la casa permite desplazarte sin temor a no oír el sonido.

Suena fuerte y se le ha dado un buen uso.

Ayuda mucho en el cuidado del adulto mayor o un enfermo en casa.

Es necesario que el instructivo de instalaciones venga en español y además, para hacer el cambio de sonido, el instructivo no es exacto, logré el cambio pero me costó mucho trabajo. Por otra parte es necesario que los decibeles máximos tengan mayor potencia, sobre todo para gente como yo que tenemos problemas auditivos.

Cumple bien su función. Se usa para una persona mayor en un segundo piso para alertar a personas en el primero. Lo único malo es que el botón cuadrado nunca funcionó bien.
