It is by far the nicest case I have ever had on any tablet I've ever owned. With the iPad mini 4 being so new, it was impossible to find a good protective case in a store and just as hard finding one I liked online. After looking for awhile I settled on a folio case here on Amazon and ordered it. I decided to look again a couple of days later and found this one (ESR Yippee) which I didn't remember seeing when I looked the first time. I looked at all the features and it seemed perfect so I cancelled my original order and bought this one. It shipped very quickly after my order went through and was right on schedule with tracking, only taking a few days to get to me. I ordered the gold one mostly because I wasn't too crazy about any of the other designs they had and I bought the gold iPad mini 4, so I figured why not enhance the color as much as possible? The color is exactly as pictured. The shell part is a mixture of a silicone gel (for around the bezel) and a harder TPU plastic, which I assume is why they call it a hybrid. It hugs the iPad very well and feels very secure, not loose at all, protective and shock-resistant, but not at all bulky. All the cut-outs for the speakers, audio port, charging port, and microphone are perfectly precise and there are plastic buttons on top of the power and volume buttons. You don't have to press any harder than you normally would to use the buttons. The extra cut-outs on the back for more ventilation was a very nice touch. The front looks like a textured leather, feels nice and smooth, has a good weight to it, probably due to the magnet, and closes perfectly over the screen to active the wake/sleep function. The magnet on the back was a great idea and it is an added bonus that the cover isn't flapping around while you're holding it. It folds like a triangle for a propped up typing view when laid flat and the same shape works for a straight-up view like for watching videos. Also, there is room to put a tempered glass screen protector without worrying about getting in the way of the case, since it only covers the bezel and does not add any additional thickness to the screen where it is not necessary. Overall, this is an awesome, very high quality case and is more than worth the price. This is much nicer and more functional than any case found in any store which would most likely be double or triple the price of this one. I would highly recommend to everyone! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a GREAT Deal! *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2015* I recently replaced my iPad mini at a local Apple store, and purchased the Apple smart cover and case protector at the same time. They're great products, but they are quite pricy at something like $100 for the two. I came home and found this item on Amazon and actually like it BETTER than the far more expensive Apple version. The back is soft and translucent, so you can see the Apple insignia on the back of my device. The top is plastic versus leather, but is perfectly acceptable in terms of functionality. I obviously don't know yet how well this item will hold up, but did travel with it once and had no trouble, and at a fraction of the cost don't really care if I have to replace it down the road. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FANTASTIC. I use my ipad everyday for long periods of time, and often take it with me to various places. This case is AMAZING for the price. Its still holding strong after FOUR YEARS of abuse. Ha! Its amazing. I noticed the seller no longer has this exact one available. I wanted to buy a new one because this one is ever so slightly becoming worn, but mainly the only problem is that its accumulated a lot of dinge.
