A: It is durable and well made. It's not comfortable to wear for long periods because of its weight. It tends to slip down. If you pinned it in place it would be fine to wear.

A: It's a faux blue crystal meant to look like sapphire. They're darker in real life than in this picture

This is a beautiful piece. I got it for my girlfriend for Christmas this year and she loved it! (We exchanged early). I question why everything by the noble collection is so expensive (probably because its officially licensed) but you cannot find better replicas. It feels like a legit diamond studded diadem in your hand. It feels very authentic. The box that it comes in is great for displaying though it feels a little cheap when you are actually setting the diadem into it. I would recommend this to anyone. If you are a diehard Harry Potter fan or you know someone who is this would be perfect to add to their collection. After you pick this up you should get all of the Hogwarts House objects--all offfered by Noble Collection on Amazon!
