Good Duracell product, purchased for fobs for vehicles and really work and last

I needed these batteries for a particular device. So far the batteries have held up well and were good value for the money, Easily recommend if you need this specific kind of battery.

While I understand the need for packaging that will prevent theft, or restrict children from opening, they have not provided any way at all of opening this package. The battery is sealed between two layers of hard plastic and there is no way to open it without using a very sharp tool, and good luck not stabbing yourself while you try.

I bought 1 of these in November, 2021 and they were dated to last through 2031. Both worked fine. Be aware that there is a new “child proof” packaging that really sucks up open. I get the button battery issues but this packaging is going to injure a lot more adults than kids. Original review - Bought these in 11/20, they allegedly expire in 2030 which appears to be solid. Never seen a 2450 battery before - lots of 2032 and 2025. I needed them for a My-Q garage door opener, and the first one worked perfect. I have the same MyQ garage door opener at another location and I opened another “new” battery and it was dead. I opened a 3rd battery and it worked fine. I expect this sort of nonsense from the imports but not from Duracell. The other issue is the packaging. It’s super annoying to open these “child resistant” packages. It takes a pocket knife and a lot of screwing around to make sure you open the package and not slash your finger. Not real happy....but with the second purchase a year later, it averages out to 4 stars. Hope that helps!

I bought this product for my welding helmets. At 20% of what I would pay at the local hardware it is a no brainer. The shelf life date is current and I check voltage before I install them. They check out perfect every time.
