Excellent Clarity
Rediscovering my Hi-fi and home cinema set up, works well with my Denon AVR 760. Clear dialogue from on screen and balances well with the left and right speakers. Good value for money as well. Its a large unit which is dedicated for dialogue , not a sound bar if you want a sleek style may not be for you but its all about the audio for me, serious speaker for serious audio.

Well built. Sounds great
Quite a large speaker, very well built. Goes well with my wharfdale 9.1 bookshelf speakers and diamond 150 sub. Makes a complete set up for watching films. Clear vocals, integrates well with my wharfdale set up

Typical Wharfedale
As many customers know, Wharfedale is a well known manufacturer of Hi-Fi products; this centre speaker which so far is working well is typical of their workmanship. A little on the large side, I placed the speaker in the centre of my home cinema system; sound is very good, dialogue clear and precise, a very good buy without paying such a large sum. Extremely good value.

Nice speaker, too base-centric
I bought this centre since the small satellite speaker in my 5.1 Tannoy system was doing most of the work and I felt like voices in particular werent always totally clear. I wanted a good quality speaker that would be playing most of the sound with crystal clear clarity. Its a nice speaker, but its not what I had hoped for. This is a large speaker that basically does a similar job to my old satellite speaker, except adds explosive, pounding base to it. Every character sounds like they have the voice of God when they speak at anything approaching a moderate volume. If you turn up to hear a conversation in a lot of detail, woe betide you when there's an explosion - your neighbours will be hammering your door. Bottom line: use this if you dont have or want a subwoofer and you want to improve base handling of your system and also dont like or have any neighbours. It does a lovely job of providing base and also looks fab. If youve got a sub woofer already and a normal small centre, youre basically just adding another subwoofer to your setup that you cant switch off or dial down independently. :/
