The last few volumes have been really focused on the building romance between Takane and Hana, which is amazing! But this volume is different. From the second chapter on, it's all about moving the story forward. What are the couple going to do about his grandfather? Are they really prepared for the troubles facing them with the Takaba family? How serious are they about each other? Plus, Takane's family history is finally revealed. So, while not romantic exactly, it sets the groundwork for their future and it's incredibly important to the series going forward.

Takane & Hana, up to their usual hijinks, and an unexpected meeting. Confusion, mistrust, worry abound. Hana sez get on the damn ferris wheel! Ok so I've been reading this manga since the beginning. This is my 1st time buying digital over physical for this series. I enjoyed this volume. Interesting lady, Takane's mom. Now, with tacit approval, what next? Art, very good. Dialogue, a little stiff at times, but overall good. Characters, believable, relatable, & mostly likeable.
