Singer 20" Steam Press

I bought the Singer Intelligent Steam Press for wife this past Christmas. She is an avid quilter and needed a steam press. This press works great for all size material and made of high quality materials! Never an issue with water leakage and the glide is nice and smooth. Absolutely a great value for the money.

Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use, I was spending a fortune a month taking my dress shirts and pants to get washed and ironed. They did a great job, and I did not want to spend my weekends ironing shirts and pants. However, the prices went up to about $6 per shirt and $10 per pants. This will pay for itself in a couple of months. It will take me a shorter time to press my clothes. It works really well. It is small but I knew that from the beginning, but it surely beats the regular steam iron.

I would recommend this steam press a million times, it's very effective, removes wrinkles fast, value for money

*BUYER BEWARE!* We have been a tried and true Singer Steam Press family for years. We have various family members that still use the original steam press iron we owned. Our last Singer Steam Press finally gave out last week after 11 years (we purchased it in 2013), so it was a no-brainer to replace it. Unfortunately the quality control missed the mark on this one. We received it today, and upon opening we noticed the press has a huge crack on the right side of the handle. It is ascending from what appears to be an over-tightened screw. The handle feels nothing like our original one either (which we purchased through Amazon as well), this newer model feels like a light weight plastic was used. We are returning it TODAY and have to wait for the 30 days to be refunded and only then will be able to repurchase accordingly. We would buy the original Singer we had if it was still available but unfortunately, this is the only option for now and we are restricted for dimensions of press. *UPDATE: 7/31/24 received refunded credit finally and will buy again in good faith. Will update when replacement arrives. **HORRIBLE!! 8/7/24 ** SECOND SINGER IRON RECEIVED AND IT HAS BROKEN/CRACKED HANDLE JUST LIKE THE FIRST ONE, IN FACT MY HUSBAND THINKS THEY MAY POSSIBLY HAVE SENT US THE SAME ONE! Will try and upload video/photos although it won’t let me upload a second video but I will certainly try! It didn’t even make it into the house we opened it on the doorstep and back to the post office it goes, what a hassle this has all been. I am completely disappointed!! Buyer beware!!! **8/12/24: Updated photos and videos not allowed to upload, and still waiting for refund. Refund status shows it will be between 8/28-9/4 before we get our $519.59 back. We reviewed and compared our close-up photos of the first Singer Steam Press iron broken out of the box delivered and the second same Singer press, (also new and broken out of the box that was delivered) and my husband and I came to the conclusion that they are two different brand new Singer Steam Presses that were *cracked* and *broken* irons in the exact same spots delivered to us. Both new and unused, but both badly cracked along the handles which makes the irons useless as you can’t feasibly press repeatedly with cracked handles. It would have been better for Singer if it were indeed the same iron delivered but now it’s obviously a defective product issue. SINGER, WHERE IS THE QUALITY CONTROL?! We are not the only ones having issues either, we should have heeded the warnings! We have been trying to get our original Singer Press that went out repaired in the meantime because we do believe in the original Singer Steam Press iron but these new Singer ones just don’t fit the bill. The original ones were so great it’s a shame they changed them at all!

From a young age, I have loathed ironing. If something needed to be ironed, I would put the article of clothing between my mattress to get it pressed. As an adult, my husband irons for me, or I just throw it in the dryer to remove any wrinkles. I got this for my husband to press and light starch his work jeans. I decided to try it, and in one hour, I pressed all my wrinkled clothing hanging in my closet (10 articles). I found a new love of ironing! Best investment recommend buying! Thank you & I give it ten stars.

Wonderful machine. Instructions are tricky so be sure to follow precisely! I followed instructions perfectly yet had to replace in May 2022 after only one month. Machine stopped working again (10/22) and hoping they replace my replacement! First stops steaming and then stops heating completely - like there’s a glitch. Photo shows light it on but plates not heating! Good quality pressing though, just doesn’t hold up?

If you ever want to know what super heated steam at 420F feels like on your skin, get up close and personal with this monster. It is heavy and you need a good solid base. And you build up a good sweat standing next to it but it gets the job done and more. I love it. But keep your kids away from it. But it is a lot bigger than you think. It cuts through the ironing in 1/4 of the time. If makes a breeze of ironing pillow cases and under shirts, dress shirts and pants. Sheets are a little tricky and duvet covers takes a bit of practice. But my weekly wash usually takes 4 hours to iron, I got done in 1 hour. No more piles of laundry demanding to be ironed, lying around for days waiting for my wife to complain that it isn't done. Should have bought this 20 years ago. An investment in marital bliss.

Questa pressa fa quel che promette. È comoda e stira molto velocemente. Personalmente anche se la stiratura non è perfetta non mi importa. Io la uso per stressare la biancheria. Forse potrebbe essere usata per stirare con più precisione, ma io l'ho comprata per stirare velocemente ed anche se il risultato non è perfetto non mi importa.

I brought this to mainly use for fusing interfacing does an excellent job on large pieces and I'm very pleased with this product I think it's a great value for the price
