These are very simple cases, just plastic that clips and/or sticks on. My only gripe is that I could not get the top of the case to stick to the buds case with the pre-applied tape. I had to use some of my own double sided tape to get the top to stay on. The bottom of the case does not have tape and just locks into place.DO NOT use the clip at all unless you want to lose your buds. This case and the included clip are not built for it.
