**Q: Aside from less dust, does this have any other advantage over the black mono eraser?**
A: Not that I have seen. They are both competent erasures.

**Q: Is it an eraser that erases writing or does it only catch the dust?**
A: The 'dust' created while you are erasing sticks to the eraser and doesn't go all over your paper.  It's a great eraser!

**Q: what is the difference between this and the tombow sand eraser?**
A: The sand eraser is pretty rough and whatever it removes accumulates on the page.  The 'dust' catch eraser doesn't leave any debris on the surface.  Whatever it removes accumulates on the part of the eraser you are using.  You just 'flick' it off as you erase or after you're done.

**Q: Does this erase colored pencil?**
A: Yes!  Mine does great on my caran d ache and prismacolor colored pencils.  I truly love this eraser, it is my favorite, and will continue to be a life long purchaser and user.

As a crafter this is the best eraser I have ever owned and will never buy anything else. Today I was lightly drawing embroidery stitch lines on a very light ivory fabric, this tiny black piece of magic completely removed my pencil line, left zero dust, and I had absolutely no fabric discoloration from either the eraser or the pencil line. This is a 10/10 product
