I don't know if that would replace soda when making homemade cleaning solutions, but hopefully this information will be helpful. **Q: Will this work plastic to clean water reservoirs like camel-bak?** A: It would work well I think with some soaking to clean gunk out of the bladder and tubing. I've used it on plastic brewing equipment without problems, although nothing as soft and flexible as a Camelbak bladder.
