Better than antenna that came with weboost system.
Bought this ro replace the antenna that came with the weboost system. Just trying to maximize gain and stock antenna kind of came apart. It took me a while to get it to work because I didn't know where the cell tower was exactly and this antenna is very directional. The stock yagi antenna is much more forgiving than this antenna if you dont know exactly where the tower is. Once set, it works better than the stock antenna. Without the system I was getting about 2-5 mbps down. With the system and stock antenna about 30 mbps down. With system and this antenna 40-50 mbps down. My upload speed is less with this antenna but I think it just needs more tuning. In order to get this antenna to work with residential weboost system you will need Wilson 971128 N-Male to F-Female Connector.

I am getting over 10Mbps and the tower is 37 miles away!
This antenna is dramatically better than the antenna included in my weboost home system. I use it to hit a Verizon tower 37 miles from my house, and because there's a ridgeline between here and the tower I don't have a line of sight. The original antenna gave me usable internet and cell-most of the time. But it was noisy and unreliable. With this antenna, I get between 8Mbps and 15Mbps with a much more reliable signal. Working remotely was an exercise in frustration before, but now I don't remember I'm remote most of the time. I had to call technical support because this antenna is designed to be connected to a larger cable and I was unable to set it up initially. Technical support staff are very knowledgeable and the person I talked to made sure to locate the exact part I needed and sent it out for $12 including shipping. I am very happy with this antenna.

Seriously Strong Signal Improvement
I've been installing Wilson Products for 10 years in New England. I wish I was using this antenna long ago. I have a $1,100.00 test equipment you only WISH you had. This test equipment is what I used to evaluate the signal improvement before I got up on the roof to 'hard' install it. I used this yagi in place of the standard broadband yagi. This one is double the cost but the signal pattern is far more directional, thus, penetrating in a more direct pattern to 'reach out' farther. Caution: it may be more sensitive to direction - it's a good idea to know where your tower is first. Mine was about 7.85 MILES LINE OF SIGHT.

WOW - big difference
I buy a lot on Amazon, but I rarely leave a review... I've been using the stock antenna that came with my Weboost for a few years now - it worked, but not too well. I decided to take a chance and give this antenna a try and the difference was dramatic. A much stronger signal. Well worth it!

Did Not Improve My Cell Reception. I am very Disappointed.
No improved performance over the lesser Yagi antenna. We are 7 miles from the Cell tower of which we are trying to improve reception. Wilson advertises 3 miles for Omni directional, 5 miles for Yagi and 7 miles for this LPDA. Unfortunately we did not realize any improvement so we returned it. Build quality seemed good and price is lower than the competition... But none of the positives matter if it does not perform.

Got me my much-needed cell reception
I'm a radio technician and I saw this for a price which was about $100 cheaper than it usually is, I scooped it up, and it worked very well, Keep in mind I've installed many many antennas at work for cellular reception, and this is the one I picked

Didn't work any better than the antenna that came with my Cel-Fi X kit
I was hoping to get a better signal out of this "High Gain" antenna than from the stock antenna that came with my Cel-Fi X kit. But after installation, the signal quality was either the same or worse with this antenna than from the supposedly lower-gain antenna that came with my Cel-Fi Go Kit. I thought at first I might have received a defective antenna, so I reordered a second unit from Amazon, but the results were the same: same or lower signal strength and lower signal quality after hooking up this antenna to my Cel-Fi Go kt. Luckily, Amazon accepted returns for full refund on both units.

Does help
I have a Weboost home complete that originally came with a yagi style white plastic triangle antenna. AT&T is the only service that works in my rural location surrounded by hills. Without the WeBoost I got 1bar almost constant dropped calls and no usable data. With the WeBoost I got an increase of 2 sometimes 3 bars of signal some dropped calls but often no data at all. When I did get data it was never more than 1.5 mbps with 300ping. In other words a streamed video had lots of buffering and total lockup and loss of data was common. This directional antenna was easy to install and fine tune through trial and error (about 1hour). Now I get a mostly consistent 3.5 mbps data with 90ping. By the way, low ping at 100 or less is good. Real world, this translates into occasional brief buffering and rare dropped calls. The improvement over the original WeBoost antenna was well worth the extra money.

We have a weboost we had 0 bars with the original antenna , we opt for the LPDA antenna went from 0 bars to 3+ bars , this antenna made all the difference.

I'm 35kms away from nearest Cell Site, with no service at all, lost it when CDMA shut down , I bought the Wilson Booster and still couldn't get service with the antenna that came with it, I bought this one , installed it and get between 2 to 4 Bars on my phone, sometime if you stay talking for a while I fade out , I can hear the person on the other end perfect , but they say i cut out, but at least I have some service now compared to nothing. I'm down in a valley also with my antenna mounted on a tower
