Very good quality lye. I used it for soap making and it worked perfectly.

Love the smaller bottles, as we use this lye to make small batches of soap. Have used for years, and will continue to use.

This is the only lye I've used but it comes quickly and I'm able to use 1 bottle per loaf so I dont have to measure. I'm sure the more soap I make I'll have to start buying bigger amounts and may need to shop around. But for now while I'm still learning it does great.

Will give you the authentic German pretzel look and taste. Meaning it's the same stuff than in Germany. I do think it's a little weaker though. I mix a 6-7% solution with lukewarm water for my pretzels and leave each in for about 10 -15 seconds

It's lye! I'm using it for lye breads and it performs just as expected. Greatful for it being in bead form. Will purchase again once I've gone through my current supply.

This is not a coincidence; it is a clear marketing tactic designed to make a customer quickly calculate a total of 5 lbs, which is exactly what I did. Guess what, they are actually 0.3125 lb per bottle for 4 bottles to make 1.25lbs total.

This is such an over priced item..the bottles are tiny!!!!! Again..TINY.

I was in the middle of crafting a batch of cold process soap when I needed to add just a few grams of lye to cover the amount I was short from my existing container (a different brand) only to find this lye was so hard it had to be chiseled just to get the last grams needed. I have no idea if my soap batch will be negatively affected. Signed a Very Unhappy Customer.
