For my needs I am extremely impressed with this particular set of headphones. All things included are good quality and what I consider a good value for your money. I wasn't too keen on spending the money to buy Bose QC35 and thought hey why not try these first because they are a third of the price? Here is what to expect on the below: Build - these are durable and have quality in the parts that matter. They are comfortable to take on long flights and I had no trouble wearing them for 6+ hours. The cups are soft but if you have bigger ears like me they will get pressed and warm after a long period of time. The head band is soft and great as well. They aren't stylish or attractive by any means but if you want something like that youre gonna spend more money. Sound Quality - the sound quality is good I wouldn't say amazing and with the "Noisehush" technology lets just say it gets the job done. I am not trying to feel like i'm at a concert in person I am trying to enjoy and listen to my content when in noisy travel conditions. On the aforementioned it completely delivers. It blocks out drones from planes and distractions at the office quite well. Battery - the battery I have had no trouble with whatsoever. I took it on a 10 hour flight followed by a 3 hour flight and I would just switch between bluetooth and wired with ANC with no problem. If you're smart about it these will go a long way. Also if you don't need the ANC you can just plug them in and they will work normally. Extras - the case and the extra little things it comes with is all packaged nicely. There is an included accessories velcro bag that is genius when it comes to design. I also have space to put other things in there like an iPod WITH the headphones and accessories bag in there so that is also nice. Overall a great set of headphones. I would recommend these to anyone traveling who doesn't want to break the bank!

I just got this in the mail yesterday and I luckily I had the opportunity to compare it to a friend's BOSE on-ear headphones, which is regarded as one of the best noise cancelling headphones in the business, though more of that later. The first impression was we were both impressed by the quality of the product. Even the packaging was sturdy of what you would expect from a company like Apple. The case and netted parts pouch are good quality. The pouch is a little tight to put the cables back in. To our surprise the i9BT's cables were much better quality than the ones included with the BOSE. The i9BT's were thick, cloth covered, and with gold plated connectors. My first impression of the sound quality was better than expected for music, though right off the bet it felt like the noise cancelling was not as good as I was hoping. When going back and forth between both headphones you could tell the BOSE had a slightly better sound quality for music and the biggest noticeable difference was the quality of the sound cancelling. So much so that my friend felt better with spending $300 in his vending machine BOSE headphones he bought in an airport. As noise cancelling is a premium for headphones I am still on the fence with these headphones. There is a slight white noise sound that comes from the headphones that was absent in the BOSE and a buzz as other people mentioned when the headphones were plugged in, while wearing them. While the BOSE wins slightly in sound quality and a lot with the noise cancelling, the i9BT seems to win every other category, included features such as: Blue Tooth & Rechargeable battery. The i9BT also still plays music, when ANC is turned off or batteries are dead, the BOSE doesn't. The more I use them the more I like them. Though the real tests will be on a plane or mowing my lawn. This won't happen for a while as their is snow still on the ground and I don't fly for months. Monoprice also has a similarly priced ANC headset, that I might buy if my wife wants one and to compare the two. I chose this one as it was $30 cheaper at the time and that I would like to be cordless while I mow the lawn. I know it might be unfair to compare a headphone that is 3-4 the price, though I thought it was a good bench mark. In my opinion if money is no issue and you want really good noise cancelling, then this might not be the best pick. Though if you want a noise cancelling headphone for a good value,this might be something you should consider. Edit: Note about the hum issue from charging, this is due to the lack of a ground. If you have a 3 prong USB charger or charge it via any device that has a 3 prongs, the hum will cease.

Like the quick Bluetooth connectivity. Nice sturdy storage case and good accessories. Sound is better with noise cancelling on even in quiet environment. The headphones tend to get hot over the ears and they also start to get a bit uncomfortable after long flights.
