Danesco 12-Inch Rotary Egg Beater

It operates smoothly and seems to be well made. I have only washed it by hand because it is made of stainless steel which doesn't always do well in the dishwasher. I've only mixed pudding with it but it worked well.

I needed this in my kitchen. Perfect when I don't want to get the electric beater out. This is all metal and it works very well. Couldn't find one like this at any of the stores around here. Arrived the next day ! BB in AZ Unfortunately, after using this hand held beater the first day , it fell apart while whipping up two egg whites. Sending it back !!! :(

Handle was off in package. Theres no way to stabilize it making it difficult to turn without jamming. Not all metal, with plastic & nylon gears. If there was only an option for zero stars.

We've had a hand mixer for years and the handle has finally fallen off; although it is still usable my wife decided it would be nice to have a new one. I started researching Amazon reviews for one that got uniformly good reviews and couldn't find one; there were good reviews and seriously critical reviews on virtually all of the hand mixers that had reviews. I kept look and finally found this one that looked good and was widely sold (I used Google to search the web) and found this mixer was available from a number of sources and most importantly from Amazon. There were no reviews so I decided to live life on the edge and just take a chance on this mixer. I ordered it and it came in today; our first impressions of it are very favorable. It looks professional with a shiny competence that inspires our confidence. It works smoothly with no binding or any other apparent problems. It does have the gap at the bottom that was mentioned on some other reviews but we don't think that will be a problem for us. I noticed the old mixer we are retiring and saw it also had the nylon gears that turn the mixers; those gears are still working flawlessly so we have no reason to suspect a problem with that design on this mixer. If anything note worthy develops I'll update this review, but so far so good!

Had used something like this eons ago and after being reminded of this seeing it used, decided it was necessary and wow, absolutely one of the best kitchen tools to have. You can of course beat eggs, however, you can beat pretty much anything that doesn't require an electric tool or chopping. Sauces, frosting, small bowls or even a pot right on the stove. Absolute must have in any kitchen!!

Bought this because I thought it'd be like the originals. It's made of cheap metal. The handle already came apart. The beaters get easily bent, but can be bent back. I just use it to mix formula for my baby! It still works, but you might want to look elsewhere if you're looking for something more substantial.

03/08/2924.- I’m ok with it, I bought one from same seller year or so ago, but I let someone else’s to use it and it got messed up, it was mostly metal, but this time it’s half plastic and half metal, (picture) I’m not sure if this is going to last but I’m going to be careful and make it last as long as possible, it serve its propose of lightly beating eggs, I’m not sure if it will make fluffy eggs like my old one 😔

This is *THE* gold standard in hand egg beaters. Construction quality is extremely good and everything fits very well but also with enough space in the tolerances for easy cleaning. An earlier model of this one that I had had problems with beater and gear alignment at high speed but this one has fixed that issue with a simple bend in the bottom stabilizer bar. It's even stable at very high load and speed levels (8 eggs in a 4 cup measuring cup) and the results are absolutely fantastic. If you're in the market for a hand egg beater this is definitely the one to go with.
