Great product. Gives your deck a most custome and flawless look!
These have worked flawlessly for my deck build. I am using 2x6x6 for both my deck structure and actual deck surface vs just using 2x6 under and thin deck top cedar. (I am not using These Camo screws for the structural element of my deck, you shouldnโt either- just to clarify. You should be using lag bolts and deck screws were applicable.) Because Iโm using the 2x6 for the top, I needed the longer screws. These worked great and are holding really well. I canโt beleive how great the deck top looks! Iโm laying my boards diagonally. I went with joists every 16โ. I opted to secure my deck top lumber to each intersection where the deck top board touched a joist. My deck is SO SOLID with these screws. The boards do not move/squeak/wobble! Well worth the money and Iโm so happy I did this. Be aware that your method of inserting the screws is a little different when youโre laying diagonally. When youโre setting up the camo tool, you have to move for each individual screw, instead of set up and then doing two screws each time. Once you get used to it, itโs no big deal but it took some thinking at first. Top notch product! Glad I found this before I used regular deck screws. Will always use these on any deck project again!

Camo Screws Take My Deck Jobs To The Next Level.
I love these camo screws. I use them for everything now where I want to be able to remove the board later as well as have a hidden fastener. On deck boards the work great and have good holding power. Recently on a deck job the granite top installers dropped a heavy slab down on the stairs I had just installed. It bent down a forward 2x6 tread but did not damage it. With nails I would of probably been replacing it or it would have at least looked worse than original. With the camo screws I just backed them out and then reinstalled. It looked and felt perfect again. It took me all of 2 mins to accomplish. I also have used these with cedar fence boards and used the 1-7/8" versions to attach them over PT framing. Looks fantastic and is still holding up wonderfully after several years. I have not experienced any corrosion or loosening with these yet. The reverse thread under the head really pulls the boards down tight. I usually use two impact drivers on installs. One with either the zero space installation tool or a 1/8" drill bit on it and the other with the camo star bit driver. It really helps to pre drill a shallow hole to get the screws started at times the tool isn't appropriate. I hope you find these screws as useful as I have. They make my jobs look better and repairs way easier. Most of my customers seem to like it too!

The genuine article comes through
This screw is for use with a Camo deck fastener jig. This system was used to install our ground-level deck in 2012, and I needed to reinforce areas on the board ends where the installers failed to use enough fasteners. Two observations: 1. The original screws held the boards down tightly, and none of them has failed. There is one area where, unaccountably so far, the treated 6x6 underneath has started to deteriorate, and of course the screws there have no place to โbite.โ 2. The additional screws I added are high quality. I did not have a single failure in the batch. The system has a positive thread near the screw head that pulls the board to the fastening surface rather than pushing it away, and this works perfectly. I wouldnโt mess around with other systems on a ground-level deck. These fasteners enhance your build.

Pretty good finished product some pre drill required
I really liked the look of the finish product with hidden screws. I also used the Camo fastener guide. I did 100 sq ft deck using treated lumber. Did have to do some occassional pre drilling even though the screw was supposed to do this. Still overall pretty happy, never had a screw break, just had to slow down a second so it didn't slip around on the wood.

Awesome hidden fastener system!
Used these on a deck project because I didn't like the idea of seeing all the screws. These actually work really well I also purchased the 1/16 spaced install tool and was surprised that there were no splitting of the boards and you almost can not see that anything is screwed into the deck boards. very easy to use seems like they will last and hold but only time can tell, and while these are a little more cost wise I am glad I spent the extra money
