Great taste, low sugar, high protein.
One of the better whey protein isolates on the market.

One of the better tasting
The taste of powders is never really appealing, but I found a video making the fluff and I find I enjoy eating it more than drinking. It makes a great anytime meal for me.

Great price, decent taste
Pros: price - you're not going to find many, if any, isolates at this price. I can't tolerate concentrates and this fits the bill since my other favorite cheap brand discontinued. Cons: mixing is not great. Buy a milk frother, problem solved. Taste: vanilla is mild and not artificial tasting like other brands. At first I thought it wasn't the right flavor because it kind of smelled like a light flavored strawberry one. After tasting it, it was fine just not strong vanilla and had no issues at all with the flavor.

Yuck!!!
I like Six Star, but this flavor is TERRIBLE! Tastes like sour milk, even when mixed with water, almond milk, and/or fresh cows milk. Into the garbage. Too expensive to try other flavors and chance the same result, so back to ON brands.

Delicious creamy vanilla flavor.
The flavor was very rich and delicious. I especially love it with Unsweetened Almond Vanilla Milk. For a while there this product was selling at a great price. It’s gone up, but is still lower than at most stores. I’ve been working out and working at dramatically increasing my protein intake, mostly vegetable protein, and decreasing fat, carbs, sugars and starches. The addition of this particular protein powder was very noticeable in both my endurance and energy levels. I’ve been supplementing my diet with protein powders awhile - years - now. I only started this one a few months ago. It quickly became my favorite.

Compared to competing products, tastes good for a vanilla but hard to mix
Six Star always seems to have competitive pricing on their protein compared to other producers. Vanilla is one of my fav flavors in general and in general protein powders usually have a HORRIFIC vanilla rendition. Labrada's Lean Body RTD is by far the best (it tastes like a McD milkshake). This Six Star Isolate is actually not bad. It does not have the raspy unpalatable super artificial flavor of most vanilla proteins powders, instead has a somewhat mild vanilla flavor, more like protein powders you may have had in the 70's/80's. It's better vanilla than Gold Standard and Combat by far. Mixing it is another story. I use a metal mixer cup with a wire ball. I have to really shake this hard for a good 30-60 seconds to get it to mix, and even then there may be some clumps at the top. Shaking less results a huge amount of clumps that make it disgusting to drink. It does not compare well to most protein powders, especially the popular ones like gold Standard and Combat that mix near completely with just a little shaking. So on a 1-5 scale, 5 being best: Vanilla taste: 4 (most vanilla proteins I would give around a 2) Price: 5 (not only cheaper at times to competing products, you can buy smaller quantity at the cheaper price) Mixing: 2 (poor but not impossible miscibility)

Good!
I was looking for a protein powder that was good and not that expensive, so I found this and decided to give it a try, it's really good!! I make my shakes add some fruit almond milk, and they so tasty, the consistency is on point.
