The big arc for the season is Roseanne Connor's pregnancy (which coincided with Roseanne's own), but two other subplots provide memorable episodes: The troubled marriage of Roseanne's sister Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) and Fred (Michael O'Keefe) and the equally troubled relationship between Roseanne's daughter Darlene (Sara Gilbert) and her boyfriend David (Johnny Galecki), who's moved into the Connor house and becomes a sort of adopted son. As ever, the show superbly balances serious issues (drug use, infidelity, abortion, racism) and more obviously comic material (nudist neighbors, inappropriate erotic dreams, and absurd turns with classic sitcom moms and a daffy homage to Gilligan's Island). The key is that Roseanne never offers an easy solution. Roseanne is adamant about a woman's right to choose, but has a meltdown at the possibility that she might have to make such a choice herself; Roseanne tries to keep Darlene and David together, but that may not be the best option for either of them. This moral and emotional complexity--combined with smart writing and top-notch performances--made Roseanne one of the all-time top sitcoms. Featuring guest appearances by Sharon Stone, Ellen DeGeneres, Traci Lords, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Danny Masterson, as well as recurring appearances by Martin Mull, Sandra Bernhard, Estelle Parsons, and Shelley Winters. I love every season of roseanne, although, dispite its surreal quality the 9th and final season is my most anticipated season to be released on DVDbe cause i am missing the most episodes taped from TV of any season of the show. im surprised by the negative comments about season 7 in particular the treatment of the male characters. i was happy to see fred go he was not an interesting character at all and as for marks dwindeling intelegence- i found him much more entertaining as the comic releif than the antagonist- i actually started to like him and felt bad for him when he was shown to be dumber than dirt. i loved the season opener when every one ends up in the bathroom gawking at dans shameful secret. roll on season 8 & 9!!! you can't go wrong with Roseanne, just fun and a nice break from all the csi and death shows that are on now days. well made and I never get tired of watching it over and over. Roseanne series is a blast from the past and quite frankly displays a family like any other family dealing with real life problems. She is my queen of comedy and a family to watch with Dan, Roseanne, Jackie, Darlene, Becky, Mark, DJ, and Mark's brother David and the wackiest mother-n-law Roseanne's mother. NEED a cynical laugh watch Roseanne and learn some life's lessons in the process. My product arrived on time and good condition. Thanks Amazon!

Expect the Unexpected
This season has alot in store. Sarah Chalke plays becky number 2. Roseanne is pregnant. Dj is finally on the dating scene. Darlene & David relationship is put thru so many obstacles. This season has the number one most watched episode of Roseanne "A stash from the past". This season is a must own classic.

Still my favorite Rosie
Rosie is still as great as she ever was! The 7th season continues her hilarious hijinks and continues with added drama of her possibly sick baby she's pregnant with. In my opinion, this was the last truly great season of Roseanne. I liked S8, but this one was the last season that truly captured the essence of what made Roseanne so popular.

Well, This is how i feel about the seasons of roseanne. I thought it was a show that was really made for the future. Seems like the children these days are just like the kids on roseanne. I think she is great, and i really enjoy all the seasons. But I cannot fugure out how many seasons they were. once again this season live up to this name ! only the roseanne familly have matured a bit ! l read a lot review saying that : roseanne season 7 is probably the last good season .! you can t really blame the producers , because l think 6 lovely seasons , before this one as show that everybody give the best of their acting and production . and its come a point , when you did so many episodes ! you start to go down on quality , wich l think is perfectly normal ! l won t say l recommend season 8 and 9 to everybody , just judge for yourself !!!

I love buying season's of my favorite shows for the fact that there are no commercials. If you have seen any Roseanne episodes then buy the whole season! LOL
