Contains fragrance allergens. **Q: How much do you use?** A: I just sprinkle it over the top of the cat litter in the box. Use your own judgement depending the size of your litter box. I have the extra large boxes for my cats and probably use a larger amount than a smaller box. Sprinkle enough to where you can see the deodorizer on top. **Q: How do you use this and what is it like made of** A: I have no idea what it's made from but I use it primarily at the bottom of the litter box as a base for the litter. I sprinkle a healthy dose over the bottom surface and then cover it with litter as usual. I think it controls odor and, when you scoop, it refreshes the litter as well. If I need to, I will sprinkle a little on top as the week progresses and swirl it into the cleaned litter to add/renew a little fresher scent. I have one cat and he refuses to go in a litter box that has anything in it. So I scoop 3 times a day and the likelihood of having a really smelly box is unlikely. Make sure to coat the bottom of the box in a thin layer, put fresh litter down, and sprinkle on top then mix a little. We’ve saved so much money with this stuff. Works great with clumping litter. Cats aren’t bothered by it. I have some scent allergies and am not bothered by it. A little is bound to leak out in transportation but it’s really not bad, just a thin dusting. It’s honestly the same at the store and cheaper to buy here in bulk.It also works for smelly cars by the way. We left the window down one rainy night and didn’t have the chance to take it to get detailed until it began to smell funky. A dusting of this stuff helped hold it over until we could really get in the fabric seats. I imagine it would be good for more than one purpose.
