Lightning X Large Intermediate EMT Medic Modular Trauma Bag

This is a great bag. I used to carry a spare medical bag (I am an LEO, but not a current medic) built from a great military surplus OD green IV kit bag. This was great until I sent a guy to get it out of my back seat of my duty vehicle and he could not see it at night! I bought this bag based on reviews and have been impressed. it is large, durable, and has plenty of space. Best features: -Color of bag -Rubberized bag outer bottom -Pull out smaller bags for keeping needed items together (mine are set up as individual IFAK style bullet wound kits) Cons: -Large Bag I have used a black permanent marker to write what is in each pocket and pouch. This has already been a great help when excitement hits.

I put together my own first aid kit for home use. ( I used to be an EMT and know what basic supplies are great to have on hand). I not only had bandages, gauze, tape , burn gel, sting/bite pads, tweezers, scissors, splints, and glucose gel but I also purchase a CPR mask and Life Vac for choking. I needed a bag large enough to store all my emergency essentials in without being too bulky or large. This bag holds so much stuff in it without being too large. It fits perfectly on top of my cabinet in the living room. I love the modular shape as well as the full length side pockets. My life vac fits perfectly in the side pocket. I also love the heavy zippers and padded waterproof bottom of the bag. The padded handles and padded shoulder strap are also nice. The color is really nice too. I loved this bag so much that I bought another one for my car! I highly recommend this rugged bag for any medical professional or anyone wanting a nice sized first aid kit for home/ car.

Like so many others, I am EXTREMELY pleased with the quality of this bag, and surprised at the amount of space that it has inside. The color-coded pouches are very roomy in and of themselves, giving me ample room, for example use the green bag to hold my stethoscope and BP cuff together. On that note, I would recommend the product because, as another reviewer stated, the color coded bags are a good way to be able to not only keep yourself organized but also to have someone not versed in EMR/EMT procedures still be able to help. ("Hand me the blue bag" as opposed to "Get me the nasopharyngeal airway.") The side pockets and front pocket are VERY roomy and have numerous loops and small pockets to hold items as well. (I currently have more loops and pockets than I do items!) With the 4 pouches inserted as shown in the picture, the removable sectioned partition has ample room for whatever other various items you may need to carry. The bag construction itself is sturdy, and I anticipate a long life of usage as I carry this in my vehicle and to work with me. I would definitely recommend it as a first responder vehicle bag!

I just received my Blue Trauma Bag today and I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase. The bag arrived packaged and came with four removable color coded pouches, a removable divider, and a shoulder strap attachment. I was a bit skeptical buying an item that only had one review, but so happy I did. The Trauma Bag is pretty spacious in the main compartment as well as the side and front compartments. In the surrounding compartments, they have elastic holders to hold anything from pin lights, trauma sheers, or some airway management tools. Honestly there isn’t much to say other then it’s a great bag for BLS and or ALS personnel. The bag doesn’t come with stocked supplies so you are putting your own material inside, which I would recommend doing anyways. Would I recommend this bag? Yes I would. But only if you understand what belongs inside a Medical/ Trauma bag and what you can or cannot do when you practice. I wouldn’t recommend this bag to someone who hasn’t gone through any BLS or ALS schooling. But just so you know, it’s a great looking bag.

This bag is extremely well constructed and well thought out. I am an old retired trauma nurse and I had a trunk full of things that I wanted to organize. Everything is excellent now. I could easily grab whatever I needed. I also attached a MyMedic TFAK to the outside where the Velcro is on top. Now that is grab and go in case of an emergency.

Hold everything I need for my supplies. Easy to carry!!!

Love this bag. I outgrew my first aid bag and needed an actual trauma bag, and this one is exactly as described. Fantastic organization, larger than I anticipated, room for EVERYTHING except an O2 tank. Craftsmanship is some of the best I've seen outside of military issue bags, so I really expect this to last forever. My only complaint is that the black dividers aren't anchored to the bag and tend to collapse down until they're filled, but that's just my personal preference. The fact that it isn't permanently secured to the bottom does let you move it around a little, so other people may find it preferable. Truly excellent product.

I use this as my athletic trainer bag for competitive lacrosse to replace my 10 year old medic bag. My only regret is waiting so long to upgrade. Everything is no so much more organized and easier to find. Very happy.
