Works exactly as I thought it should. Built solid and nice size no configuration needed for basic function, Speed is increase compared to WiFi for large file transfer Main reason I needed this was to setup routers and Access points that still need wired connections for firmware updates. – Mac Some laptop and tablet 2 to 1 have regular USB's. I try the female 'C' port. I connected the product on my Lenovo tablet, the try it on my Ace and Toshiba..it's work very well. I also try it on my Samsung Galaxy S10..wow! AWESOME! – William A. Farley Jr. I brought as my new laptop has USB - C type for Ethernet and it doesn't have separate Ethernet port. This works fine except it's not good quality. If I try to remove the Ethernet cable from it (after attaching) I feel the whole thing might come off. So very careful when you try to take out the ethernet cable from the adapter. – Kelly I bought this as a spare to keep in my backpack. When I tested it, I needed to install the drivers a couple of times, but once I did that, it works great. In fact, it works much better than the OEM one that came with the laptop! – Rick It may not seems very fashionable at the first look, but it can work perfect at 1000Mbps level. The typec port is also good, since many new computers have few usb-a ports and maybe only type-c, especially for those without a RJ45 port. Handy for home working when you need physical networking, rather than having to use Wi-Fi.... -Jnike Worked well at first and very pleased, however, three months on, I have had to replace it with another model as it became defective, working intermittently, I suspect a fracture in the wire as if you hold it in right place it will work until you move it again. My wife actually streams on Amazon and for some reason even though we have the highest and best wifi available she still gets drops during the stream so she wanted to get new adapter. She actually had one before but got a new phone so needed usb c. This is great, speed is nice, super easy to connect and it’s locks in sturdy, doesn’t heat up and functionality exactly as i expected. Use it for streaming or work or anything really you would need it for, it’s excellent to hardwire your phone!

We have multiple mac book laptops and they are all hardwired to reduce our EMF exposure when used in the house. We needed another adaptor so I bought this. For some reason, it only worked with our mac book pro 2018, but not mac book air 2024. Maybe the mac book air was too new.

Great product, just plug and play

I was absolutely unsure on whether or not this was going to work, but after doing research I discovered both devices required a specific type of Realtek (RTL8153) driver to work. Other adapters don't have this chipset/driver, so even though you have a Type-C to Ethernet adapter, it must be of this type to work on something like a Quest. Fortunately, this adapter is that example type of adapter you'll need for it. You can verify on your PC/Laptop by going to "Device Manager" > Network Adapters > Realtek USB Family Controller > Properties > Details > Hardware ID and if you see "USB\VID_0BDA&PID_8153", you have the right chipset! I'm not sure if I was just impatient but for me, the device was Plug & Play for my iPhone 16 (worked literally instantly, I was able to verify when an "ethernet" tab showed up under the WiFi tab in settings) but not my Meta Quest 2. Thankfully after some research, I figured out how to do it and figured I'd share for future customers of this product, because there's not much info on it. What I had to do was use the program, SIDEQUEST, on my PC to enable Wifi ADB (pressing the WiFi icon and then pressing the connect button) while my headset was plugged into my PC. After that is set up, I unplugged my Quest and it continued to say "Connected" in the top left corner on Sidequest. I had to plug in this BENFEI adapter to my headset with an ethernet plugged in, I went to the farthest right icon on the top right (looks like a box with an arrow that says "Run ADB" commands. I pressed "Custom Commands", pasted "adb shell setprop debug.usb.ethernet.enabled 1" (no quotes) and then pressed run command. This all must be done with WiFi ADB enabled and the Ethernet + Adapter plugged into your headset. After that, I went to my headset and turned off the Wifi. You will not see an indication that it is online, but if you open your browser and can go to any website, you are 100% connected. This made stuff like Virtual Desktop and other apps much faster. I can't say for sure how long this will be working, but it's still working as of v76 (April 2025), and I'm sure it likely will work on the Quest 3 and 3s (although I can't confirm that myself) I cannot stress enough on how much I like this product. I was expecting that it wouldn't work at all. It absolutely can do it all. I can use it on the Quest 2, iPhone 16, and laptop and get very high and stable speeds. If you are looking to wire your mobile devices to avoid dips in your network, I 100% recommend this.

Supports very fast networks! Essential for modern laptops that don't have built in ethernet. Pretty durable.

Using it to connect my steam deck via Ethernet, and also charge it at the same time. Gets a bit hot whilst charging, but not uncomfortably so. Works as intended, couldn't be happier

Used it for VR with a Quest 3 setup (because I had issues with wifi) and it works as intended For those looking for VR too try to find a slightly different version with an angled cable (and avoid my curved cable like in the image), you can also see that the charging slot works (the quest green led is on)
